I have been involved with trying to purchase a property which was in a very complex structure of probate and trusts Luca at Pointons has shown such tenacity in working through all the minefield of people involved keeping me n the picture despite the fact I was out of the country whilst he was dealing with it. He also succeeded in finding me a suitable buyer for my house showing them around in my absence and communicating updates of the situation to me via email and phone.

TrustpilotDo NOT rent with Pointons
Do NOT rent with Pointons if you want to be ignored for months on end about issues that need fixing. I had a flat inspection in October, and told Ethan Pointon a list of things that have broken or aren’t working as they should, for the price I pay of 875£ a month. I have called them probably 20 times between October till now, along with multiple emails of why things haven’t been fixed yet. I was then told that they had nothing on the system about the issues, even though I had told them twice and emailed the issues over. No answers. A massive waste of time, and no duty of care for their residents. Don’t waste your time renting with them, as all they want is the money and don’t care about the living conditions.

GoogleThe process of selling our property through Pointons did not run smoothly. I was disappointed with the poor communication of some staff. I even emailed James, the Director who did not reply to my email regarding issues with the service provided. Moreover, the buyer’s solicitors who were appointed through Pointons own panel solicitors caused further unnecessary delays also due to lack of communication, so I would not recommend using their panel solicitors. Overall, not a good experience as the agency focused more on profit than customer satisfaction.
Thank you for your review. For the benefit of fact, your property was marketed by another agent for months prior to our company receiving instructions. We took your property on in April, you agreed to a price reduction to market value in early May and by 17th May, offers started to be submitted, finally agreeing to the purchaser and providing us with your solicitors 25th June. You instructed your own solicitors - and didn’t use one that we recommend and at the end of the transaction on 01st October stated that if we did not reduce our fee that you would leave a poorly rated review on Google, and here we have it!

TrustpilotI WOULD NOT USE POINTONS AGAIN
I would not use Pointons again to manage my rental property. They neglected to follow up on the maintenance of a repair issue that could've resulted into a serious health issue. In addition to that they refuse to take any accountability for the issue/ damages which had occurred. They had ceased communication to me by email in order to avoid their responsibility.
