GoogleWe completed the sale of my parents’ house today and I cannot recommend Platform Property highly enough. This was a probate sale, and Platform took over after several unsuccessful months with a previous estate agent. They were proactive in getting in touch as the exclusive arrangement was coming to an end and made a strong, credible case for the quality of their service, which they fully lived up to.
Despite a very challenging market, they generated over 20 viewings during the time the property was listed and guided us through a smooth and painless completion process. Communication throughout was excellent. We received prompt, detailed feedback after every viewing and always felt well informed at each stage.
They also helpfully recommended a variety of different solicitors, and on the strength of their service we were happy to follow that recommendation. Customer care was consistently excellent: responsive, thorough and genuinely helpful. We are delighted with the outcome and very grateful for their professionalism and support throughout what could have been a difficult process.

GoogleThe noise !!! Earplugs are a must to live here. Noise is apparently from the water pipes and is making living here unbearable. It’s a High pitched ringing noise which can wake me up through the night but usually all through the day I guess whenever someone in the building runs water. They say they are looking into how to fix it. But I’ve seen in previous reviews it’s obviously an ongoing issue.
Also the fire alarm has gone off a lot, most recent one waking us around 7am
UPDATE
Had enough of the noise 6 months of constant noise no resolution no compensation for all the sleepless nights. so we have sadly had to hand our notice in

I also did a Google Review. The Platform Renting Imagined Official Website does not provide a possibility to review. 1 other review on Trust Pilot. It is a very negative review but received an Average, 3***.
Platform Edinburgh are your worst enemy. Esp. maintenance and post sales. Ewan Walker, James (Jamie) McEwan, John Thomson, Chelsea Bull among others are regretfully to name and shame. Reported to Microsoft , Bing and now Google Review. Platform registered on ompanieshouse.ov.uk break their T&Cs, Privacy Statement ref ICO GDPR with whom I have been in touch on other matters. Also reported Platform to CEC Cllr, Landlord Registration, PRS Tenancies, Letting Agent Regulation, SDS (Safe Deposits Scotland) and MSP incl. the SG (Scottish Government). Ewan just took videos of my home despite my protests. A big and hefty man, 37 years old. Illegal, and also in violation of the UK Equality Act Scotland Section. I pointed to possible domestic violence and his wedding ring. He admitted when I pointed out, that 2 maintenance staff enter to have a witness of their own. Even under duress, I finally acquiesced but not consented that my former partner was an MSP (Scottish Parliament) and solicitor in training (e.g. not a plumber), a devolved NOT reserved matter (London). I write in fear as I am still unable to physically and financially protect myself and they have keys with access to all our rooms and main door as there are no internal keys or locks. Internal walls are painted boards not cement or brick. They use their own OVO Energy Supplier - illegal. So I also escalated to many ombudsmen (several) Ofgem, SDS, SPSO, TPO (they are not registered on SPSO though also in Scotland; only on TPO), FHO, SEPA, Trading Standards (Scotland), Advice Direct Scotland, etcetera. Do not touch Platform Life Edinburgh (registered in England only) with a barge pole (from Barging, Cambridge). Even their energy grid is an OLD grid for a 'new green build' with probable price hikes well above estimated values and many residents have complained of their energy bills. Further, Platform are only lets not sales or buy to lets. Smokers (I have never smoked) are forced to light their e-cigarettes in the cold, outside, in gale-force winds, to reduce insurance cover of the landlord and letting agent; i.e. PLATFORM_. They are both rolled into one which is possibly not permissible due to a conflict of interest - legal term, as with the term 'confirm' and 'yellow highlighting' or 'yellow legal paper' including 'yellow notepads'. Apartments are NOT furnished despite their photos, only those on display. This includes kitchenware, furniture, bedding and more. It no longer suffices to write nice google reviews as a palliative or ego-boost. Photos will be included in due course. DR D A DEZOYSA. Economist not MD though I have taken my dual vaccine for COV-2 and 'flu immunisation. PLATFORM staff has not. Google/ Alphabet/ YouTube CA (Calif) you know me.
