GoogleVery good with the initial response to a property enquiry but very poor after. Appointment confirmed over text message but then cancelled less than 24 hours before the via an automated email (that neither of us received). When we called to ask why nobody turned up we were told "obviously, a holding deposit has been put down on the property"... Both of us took time out of work to attend and didn't get the decency of a phone call/text message because "that's just how the system works". Great example of poor service.

GoogleWe have used and continue to use Pinewood for our rental agent and also for selling, both departments are excellent. They are extremely thorough, informative and professional. We would highly recommend these for property portfolio. We will continue to use them for our existing and future projects, especially when you are not a UK resident, it's so important to have someone you can trust, hands on.

"For Jacob... and...... for all of the team at Pinewood Properties actually because a team needs a strong dynamic of skill sets to work well. Other wise we'd be up shiz creek...." Many hands make light work. Nurture and reward your employees and they will deliver much more moralistic and happier days ahead. Thank you. We LOVE our home x Pinewood Properties have been fantastic and helped us to get a new bathroom clearing all the mould that was making us all poorly. My little boy had a continuous cough he dven got given an inhailor from the doctor and when we realised under the bathroom lino was all rotten and blackened wood Pinewood stepped up and organising the repairs urgently. Many agents wouldnt, these agents are very special. The communication is the key for a collaborative harmonious working partnership between tennant, house owner, tradesmen, contractors, and property estate management. Thank you so much for all of your help. We deserve the best equally, dont we? I believe theres always room for improvement. Onwards and upwards as they say. GoogleExcellent service throughout the sales process. All staff have been excellent from Stacey to Hayley, Rozi and Jacob giving us superb guidance and help including speedily finding a buyer, to advice on solicitors and clearance providers. Invaluable care especially since my husband isn't well enough to cope with all the essential details and this has taken a huge weight from my shoulders, especially to know that everything, legally, is correct.

GoogleFantastic service from everyone at Pinewood Clowne. First saw my new home at the beginning of February and with their help I managed to complete the sale on March 26th, avoiding the stamp duty increase. Very helpful and professional throughout.

AVOID!! This review is more aimed at a member of staff than the actual branch. A routine yearly inspection was made by this person. Very informative at the beginning, very nice and chatty upon the visit. Seemed very thorough and noted all of our issues. One week later a section 21 dropped on our doorstep…coincidence?? I asked to see the report and the attitude we have received since viewing this report has been appalling. One photo In particular showed my daughter sat on the sofa. I asked for this to be removed as this was not anything to do with my property and the inspection nor was this asked to be taken and given my permission. One photo also included my rug with my dog bed on top. What does this have to do with a property inspection. When I asked the colleague to remove this, I was told this couldn’t be removed but assured me the image was only between us and the landlord. We did eventually find a new home, and when I popped in to check that I was ok to give my landlord the details of the estate agents for a reference I was told I was not allowed a reference until after we moved out. I was only allowed to have a copy of our payment history. This would take a day or so to get to me, yet not 10 minutes after leaving the shop, I had the above document in my inbox. The attitude from this colleague again on this visit was the exact opposite to how they reacted on the initial visit. I find this person to be rude, and very unhelpful. Luckily 2 other colleagues since then have been amazing and I was given a reference straight away. The end inspection after moving out was also very petty. We cleaned the house to the best of our abilities in the short time we had yet as I didn’t clean the top of the curtain poles and they had dust on them, and other petty comments we only received part of our original deposit back. The whole experience with Pinewood has been very stressful, and caused a lot of mental health issues with us as a family. I will avoid these at all costs in the future.

GoogleNothing but the highest praise for Pinewood Estates. From walking in to their office in Chesterfield to completion of my sale I was kept in almost daily contact with updates either by phone or email. All matters regarding Solicitors were dealt with in a very timely manner. My case was handled by Hayley Holland, and l have nothing but praise for her professionalism and efficiency. A pleasure to do business with and would highly recommend.

TrustpilotDishonest & Corrupt, Pinewood Properties is a Renter’s Worst Enemy
I am utterly appalled by my experience with Pinewood Properties. What began as a seemingly standard tenancy process quickly unraveled into a calculated scheme of tenant exploitation. At the end of my tenancy, Pinewood Properties deliberately misled me regarding the handover process, initially instructing me to return the keys to the landlord, only to later insist they should have been given to their office. This deliberate miscommunication conveniently positioned them to exclude me from the final inventory inspection, falsely claiming I was not present. As a result, the landlord was free to fabricate damage claims, despite clear photographic evidence from the initial inventory proving these issues predated my tenancy. Pinewood Properties not only enabled this blatant dishonesty but actively facilitated it by refusing to uphold their responsibilities as an intermediary. Their actions were not just negligent; they were a deliberate attempt to defraud me. It is painfully clear that this agency operates solely in the interests of landlords, with complete disregard for tenant rights or basic tenancy laws. Their handling of "reasonable wear and tear" is either shockingly ignorant or willfully corrupt. If you rent from them, expect to lose your deposit, because you will never get it back, no matter how well you maintain the property. To anyone considering renting through Pinewood Properties: DO NOT FALL INTO THIS TRAP. They will manipulate the process to serve landlords, leaving you exposed to unfair charges and fabricated claims. I am filing an official complaint with The Property Ombudsman (TPO) this kind of deceitful behavior must not go unchallenged. Avoid Pinewood Properties at all costs.

As you are aware, Pinewood Properties did not manage your tenancy, and all matters were handled directly between you and your landlord, including the final stages of your tenancy. The inventory was conducted by a third party and managed by your landlord. While we regret that you feel dissatisfied with the process, we want to assure you that the claims made about Pinewood Properties are unfounded and do not accurately reflect our role in your tenancy. GoogleRequested to view a property on Holland Road on Friday evening. Received a voicemail on Saturday morning from Becky I believe her name was, to advise that the lettings team will be in touch with me on Monday to arrange a viewing. Fast forward to yesterday afternoon (Tuesday), I receive an email from Rightmove but signed off by Aine, saying I haven’t been shortlisted for the property and they are proceeding with other applicants. I emailed them to ask why I wasn’t called and the reasoning behind why I wasn’t shortlisted. I have had no other communication what so ever. I didn’t apply, just wanted to view a property that me and my partner were very interested in as we want to move back to the chesterfield area. I work for an Estate Agent and you’d of thought you’d ring your enquiries or even email them to let them know the reasoning behind not being ‘shortlisted’ or you’d try and match us to another property you have available. Wasn’t the customer service I had expected from Pinewood, especially with all the good reviews they have - Poor in my opinion.

GoogleOur experience with pinewood has been generally clear and transparent. It has been a good process from start to end to secure our property and the written tenancy agreements have been clear. The staff in the office have been incredibly helpful and they have been transparent thorough out.
