GoogleAppalling service, absolutely useless. We had issues with our rental property and called the agency 4 times, and begged them to give us a call back each time. They always promised to do so but never bothered calling us back. They never helped us when we needed them to, and they even tried to charge us "moving out fees" of £120 even though this never appeared on our contract. Of course they contacted us by e-mail regarding the fees as they are too scared to say it over the phone. We fought for our rights and they agreed to remove the fees, but still, the point is that they tried to get us to pay fees that we didn't actually owe them, and that in itself is really shocking.They fit the stereotype of estate agents perfectly: once you have signed your contract there is no one to help you, and they will do anything to make an extra fiver from you.Overall the service they provide is horrendous and non existent. I only put 1 star rating because you can't put 0 star.Stay well away from them...

Hello Adrian. I am sorry that you felt it necessary to leave a negative review. However, we did not manage your property so we had absolutely no authority to help with any issues you may have had mid tenancy - you had to deal direct with your landlord. The error with the check-out fee was simply because you initially rented through another agent (who had a higher checkout fee than us). We did not charge you the higher amount that you had agreed to with the other agent - we chose to waive it all together. We are a small, family run business and we take this kind of feedback very seriously. If there is anything we can do to clarify things, please do get in touch.

GoogleMyself and my partner due to drainage issues at my previous address had a month to move. After calling up to view a few properties with other estate agents and not finding the service or some of the properties satisfactory by chance I called Palmer and Partners as it was one company I passed daily and had slipped my mind (SILLY ME) We are son glad we did Lilie was superb and met us that day to arrange a viewing that afternoon, Lilies was polite and so genuine we had met a couple of agents that day who were disinterested and the properties were not very pleasant. We went away with a huge decision to make between the one lilie had shown us and another. After a well needed break and beverage we decided on the property with Palmer and partners and within two hours put deposit down. Though they were given only under 4 weeks we were in our new home within 3 weeks after it all. Lilie and John both brilliant and did all they could to get us in our flat. At times ito was very stressful due to personal and referencing issues, but, they eased the pressure and stress and were so supportive every step of the way. Since then we have various contact with Amie and Anita also and maintenance, queries and emails all been dealt with within the day and miaintenance issues within couple hours after renting myself over 15years not known this kind of service. Even before Christmas Amie gave a courtesy call to see if al was okay before they closed.EXCELLENT customer service, friendly team and estate agents, put it this way we will be recommending Palmer and partners and for as long as we rent we will be staying with these guys. THANKS ALL :-)

GoogleUsed palmer and partners of Ipswich to move from Colchester to Ipswich. They were swift and professional and with help from Josh was in the new house within 2 weeks. I would recommend this estate agents to anyone.

GoogleExcellent service, had my house on the market with another estate agent who promised a lot but didn't deliver. I was told by 2 friends to use Palmer and partners as they had had very good experiences previously and they sold my house within 2 weeks of changing to them! Great job and thanks to Simon and the team.

GoogleIf you are looking for a friendly, trustworthy agent to spend your time with throughout your property search, please contact Alex Herbert at Palmer & Partners. I have been in contact with several estate agents around the Colchester area and Palmer & Partners are for sure at the top of the 'I want to work with these guys' list. They are approachable and as far as my experience goes, no BS! I would recommend Palmer & Partners to anyone and everyone and will for sure be back in the future!

GoogleWe sold my mother's house through Palmers. What looked like a simple transaction turned out to be more complex than we imagined. Palmers were verty professional and helpful from the start of the process right through to completion. They kept the buyers advised of the situation and ensured a successful sale. Ithoroughly recommend them.

GoogleWe originally chose Palmer Partners because of their helpfulness and professionalism. The house was placed on the market and sold within a couple of days. However, it turned out to be a very complex and challenging sale because of various legal issues. Claire Chapman was absolutely excellent throughout the entire process. She kept all parties fully informed, she chased solicitors relentlessly, and throughout she retained a cheerful and humorous demeanor. At one point when we looked like losing the sale she spoke to the elderly purchasers, reassured them by explaining the reasons for the legal delays and was able to rescue the sale. She did an absolutely first class job. Thank you Claire and well done!

GoogleThe guys were very, very helpful in the office however they did not turn up for appointments three times do you know what its like sitting in and waiting for someone and they just don't turn up. I think it is unprofessional and if this reflects your services in the sales end I can't see you being overly useful not even a courtesy call to cancel.

GoogleWe have just sold our house using the expert services of Palmer & Partners. I cannot praise them enough. Throughout we were given expert advice and guidance and every telephone call and visit to the office was treated with patience, politeness and humour which is sometimes desperately needed in what can be an extremely stressful procedure. We were kept updated at all times by the extremely efficient Claire and every call was taken immediately and if more information was needed, she immediately sought to find answers and phoned straight back. Hopefully, we will never move again but if it were the case would have no hesitation in choosing Palmer & Partners to sell our property.

GoogleJust sold one of my Rental properties through Palmer & Partners. Within the first 2 weeks we had around 10-12 viewings. They provided very good feedback from each potential buyer and negotiated an acceptable offer within those 2 weeks. Throughout the process they have been very efficient and on request they have contacted the appropriate solicitors to get an update on progress. In short very good, professional service. Would definitely use again.
