FacebookI loved my first estate agent when we bought and sold but now I have met Sam and Steve at Larkfield, Page and Wells and I adore them! When people say “nothing is too much trouble” they throw that statement out there... Sam and Steve had the hardest chain and at times the most ludicrous sale with our house and the things they did to get our exchange over the line were nothing short of amazing. I had phone calls and replies to emails past 6pm to reassure and update me. The literature and advertising of our home was brilliant with great attention to detail. We went on the market in July and went under offer and sold a month later. They then worked tirelessly to ensure our long chain didn’t collapse. I am 99% sure if we’d gone with another agent we wouldn’t have exchanged yesterday, the negotiations and rapport needed to manage the other agents and solicitors in the chain was paramount and Sam & Steve were a brilliant double act. Thank you so much! I’ve already started recommending you to people.

FacebookAwful service, we had the misfortune to be in a chain with page and Wells. We repeatedly asked them to chase solicitors etc to make sure that he sale would complete. They never returned our calls or our estate agents calls. In the rare event that we did manage to speak to the right person it was like asking to a brick wall. I told them that our chain was going to fall apart and could they please try their best to make sure the sale went through. Every other agent in the chain did their best and one even did the chasing up that page and Wells were supposed to do. The agents constantly reported to me their frustration when trying to get page and Wells to chase up their side of the chain. Unfortunately our chain fell apart last week as the sale was taking too long. So thanks to page and Wells lack of interest and motivation I have now lost the property wanted to buy and my buyer. I tried to complain to one of the partners, again it was like speaking to a brick wall, with comments like ‘my staff wouldn’t do that’ and ‘we pride ourselves on being a family business’ I hope I never have to deal with page and Wells again, and I would warm everyone to be careful about using them.

FacebookWe sold our home through Page and Wells Bearsted branch. The service was outstanding. I had recently been involved with another agent selling my Mothers house and Page and Wells proved themselves to be in a different league with their service and professionalism. We would like to thank Ian, John and all the team from Bearsted.

GoogleAbsolute time wasters. Offer made on the spot on a saturday, accepted on a monday, chain checked that day - spoke again wednesday and apparently its gone. Was spending the day with my terminally ill mother helping her tick off a bucket list; but I was diverting time for Page and Wells to help them verify our position throughout the day. I'll never get that time back with my Mum. Could have bought it without the sale of our house also, but didn't even ask us if we could match a higher offer. We would be ready to move in within 28 days. Must be taking bungs. We will never view a property again with these clowns, which means a vendor selling through them misses out on a willing and ready buyer. We can't be the only people who find this lot amateur. If you're a buyer, and the property is dupliately listed; view with the other firm. If you're a vendor, use someone else like Purple Bricks. Save yourself a killing too. Look forward to seeing the end of spivs like this.

GoogleClearly taking back handers and higher offers. Put in full asking price offer on the Saturday, spoke with them again Monday to do chain check (no chain for us as we complete in 3 weeks) On the Wednesday called to ask which Solicitor they would suggest I use and was told there had been another offer accepted as apparently I hadn't been in touch. In shock, as I dont see how much more I could have been in touch in the space of 3 days. Wont be going near them when looking for a property!

He also, even more importantly managed to very diplomatically & successfully secure the offer that I had tabled to the vendor and persevered until acceptance. Sam also continued to be supportive with some post completion issues that arose. Cannot recommend Sam highly enough.

FacebookWe bought our new house through Page and Wells and nothing was too much trouble for them. Sam in particular was SO helpful and always calm, thoughtful and not at all pushy. If we ever sell our house(and we will NEVER move again, so doubtful!) we would definitely use and recommend Page and Wells. Fantastic company and lovely helpful staff. Thank you ?
