Oulsnam dealt with the sale of my house. They were very professional at all times and I was always able to contact them easily when I needed to. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 as I had to check the final bill as they mistakenly charged slightly more than was initially agreed. But there was no argument when I presented the communication and I was charged correctly in the end.

Poor comms and due diligence on buyer

Lots of comms until you accept an offer then emails do not get answered for a couple of days. Whilst I prefer a written trail of comms, I started calling my assigned contact by phone to try and move things along. Not once was she available and sometimes did not call back until the next day, always with the excuse "we are very busy". The worst though was the woeful due diligence. I was told the buyer of my late fathers home was a cash buyer and they had seen the confirmation. It turned out the buyer needed a commercial mortgage which delayed the legal process by months. The one positive was that the additional costs incurred due to their error was removed from their charges. Finally on handling over the keys I was told please do not write a poor review, please give us 2 weeks to do an internal investigation of what went wrong and we will report back to you, that was over 7 weeks ago.

James was round promptly to assess the value of my house and take me through the selling process. He'd had it sold within days. Finding another proved more difficult - my surveyor rightly recommended I didn't buy the one in which I was interested. When I backed out, with my buyer keen to move forward, Oulsnams found me another suitable place within 24 hours. On the (odd) time Iwas stressed, they dealt with me calmly and professionally. Incredible experience selling my house through Robert Oulsnam

I sold my house through Robert Oulsnam Bearwood (Hagley Road) and I can not thank all of the staff enough for their professionalism and helping with the sale of my house.I particularly wanted to thank Annie Hirons, Ben Palfrey and Sarah Nourse.I had a few issues with the seller which made the sale of my house slightly more difficult. However, Annie and Ben gave incredible advice and were always there to give advice to me and the buyer to help the process forward towards completion. They were always contactable, professional and also the cost was extremely reasonable. I am very glad I went with them rather than going for options where you organise everything your self (purple bricks/strike) I think without Annie and Ben at Robert Oulsnam I would have gotten less money or the house sale would have fallen through.Right from the start I was impressed with professionalism, everything was so quick and the team were so helpful.Thank you for everything, and making a stressful time as easy as possible.Couldn't recommend highly enough
