We bought a Barratt home thinking they were 5 star builders as they had said, as soon as they have your money their customer service is non existent. They just want to get out of any problem. They make an experience that should be enjoyable an absolute nightmare. Avoid buying with Barratt.Reply advises we have been contacted by customer service. The customer service team is part of the problem. You get told one thing from site management then another by customer service. The customer service team do not care at all. Make sure you record every conversation with sales, site and customer service.

I was waiting for a long time for the house to be ready, so this was going to be less than 5 stars.But since buying the house, I genuinely cannot fault them. You hear stories about new builds, that trying to get snags sorted is like trying to get blood out of a stone.Not the case here. Once given the snag list, the customer care team were proactive in getting issues sorted, calling up frequently to organise times contractors could come. Every one of these has also been great - willing to do a couple of extra things that weren't initially on the list. Very impressed.

TrustpilotMomentum Waverley - Great service throughout
Throughout the process of buying the property there were ups and downs, the old office manager left half way through our purchase which meant Nic had to catch up with what was going on with our plot. Overall she’s done a fantastic job, was very friendly and helpful and we haven’t got any complaints so far. We had one issue where we couldn't get in touch with anyone for around a week due to a member of staff being ill and jot being covered but this did not affect our move in date and this was quickly rectified once higher management were aware of the issue.

The sales advisor, Emma, is very helpful and cheerful. The reservation procedrue is not clear enough. It is quite difficult to get the reply from the sales office by email. It seems that they are not checking the email regularly, or something discourage them to be keeping informed for the new email.The in-person reservation prosedure takes time. I am quite disappointed that I cant go into the target plot to view the detail before confirming the reservation.
