I would just like to thank Louise Willis at the Ceres Rise development in Swaffham. I dealt with Louise when I first enquired about the properties and she was excellent in communicating and arranging an appointment. Upon visiting the development, Louise was so helpful and gave very detailed explanations for all my questions. She was very knowledgeable and made the visit so easy. I decided to go back for a second visit with a friend and again, Louise was so accommodating.Upon further investigation, I did decided that Swaffham wasn't the right area for me to live in, which was a shame as I loved the Ceres Rise development.Again, I would like to thank Louise for the help and guidance she gave me regarding the properties.

I would give 0 stars if I could, do not purchase a property from this builder. They chuck the houses up as quickly as possible and the amount of snags they leave you with is disgraceful. The finish on the properties is poor and it is clear there is no workmanship! Not to mention the people they hire to ‘fix’ any snags raised are just as bad a lot of the time. When you contact the ‘customer care’ team their responses are unhelpful and it takes weeks to get things fixed (that’s with a lot of chasing from yourself). Barratt’s has no formal complaint process other than to send an email to the same customer care team that at times are the people you are complaining about due to the lack of customer service.I would not recommend anyone buys a property from Barratt’s as from the other reviews I have seen I am not the only purchaser of their properties with similar issues. I would recommend everyone stays clear and purchases their new home elsewhere as it’s not worth the hassle, stress or money. Don’t waste your money on these overpriced and under developed properties.

When I first enquired they said the Apartment came with an underground parking space. after I signed up it wasn't an underground space it was an open garage that anyone can park in. so every time I try and park someone's in my space. the Apartment has a lot of faults, the front door has imperfections in the paint like something was learned on it before it dried. #2 there's a large gap on the front door so a draught comes in from the bottom. #3 the fitted wardrobe the panel wood where the door closes to has been painted to a low standard. #4 one of the kitchen cupboard door is scratching one of the other doors when u open and close. there's a gap in the skirting board in living room that u could put a pound coin in. #5 you don't even get light shade both the bedroom and entrance hall there's a wire hanging down with a light bulb. I've had various different sales Advisor and I think the sales Advisor at Westburn Gardens development at Berryden seems a little clueless and needs to be properly trained up in customer relations. She took two days to reply to a message. Extremely disappointed with the way I've been treated and would avoid this company. I would definitely recommend Cala homes as Barratt is not the 5 star builder they say they are👎

Easter weekend 2024 saw us officially handed over from the sales team to the site management. I've already written about the sales process elsewhere on here so I'm going to limit my review to how we have been treated since moving in.Within the first week we had our house checked over by a firm of pro snaggers.....who found 60 issues ( mainly just scuffed paintwork and screw pops, but there were also a few more serious things noted. I have to point out that generally about 300 snagging items are listed, so we are happy to know we have bought a good property.The site management has pretty much carried on where the sales team left off, you get the impression that nothing is too much trouble and we have been happy with the acceptance of the defects and how swiftly they have been corrected.We have no issues with anyone we have encountered in the Barratts organisation and would find it difficult to believe that anyone has had difficulties.Yes, we are effectively living on a building site, but the roads are cleaned every day and there are plenty of fences to keep you away from active building areas.In conclusion it is my opinion that Barratts employ professional people who are also open to a laugh and a joke which makes the whole experience more Humanistic, and these people already know who they are, and know we are grateful for their time and effort.

please be careful when you buy a new build from these charlatans . Once they take your money they dont fix snags and when they do they do half a job and let you lost with the house upside down with no compensation. They ignore emails and voicemails honestly please think before you buy here

No parking whatsoever, even for deliveries.I was dropping 3 bags of groceries to my disabled son before driving 1 mile to the nearest parking spot and walking back. Within the 6 minutes it took to go up the stairs, drop the shopping and come back down again a warden was taking a picture of my car. I explained, got in and went to park but even though no ticket was issued I received a fine in the post.Absolutely disgusting
