The company certainly know who to employ as regards on site sales staff. I wasn't entirely sure I wanted to move from my home of 33yrs (my husband did!). Cheri and Stefan at Buxton site are amazing. Cheri pointed us to a house which wasn't really on our "what we are looking for list" It was off plan with a showhome quite a way off. Thank God that through Cheri's enthusiasm, we went to see it. We now live in our amazing house in Buxton and love every single thing about it. Linda & Steve.

We moved into our new home last Friday and we absolutely love it. There are snagging issues as to be expected. All issues have been raised with Barratt who have immediately responded to say the issues will be resolved as soon as possible.The whole experience with Barratt from start to finish has been fantastic.A special mention to Claire and Nicole in the sales office who go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect, they are both an asset to Barratt and we cant thank them enough.Also to Stu nothing is too much trouble he has been brilliant

Do not buy a Barratt home if you want any sort of customer care afterwards. I would give them 0 stars if I could. This is my 2nd new build home and I have never experienced sure poor customer care. All they do is lie, ignore you and treat you with no respect or fairness. Our garden can only be described as a boggy waterbed, they will not show us any plans or proof of drainage being fitted, claim they can rectify the whole thing in less than 4 hours and cost less than £300. They have tried telling us we wouldn't have used our garden anyway and when offering us penny's in compensation for not having a garden for 8 months, they have offered another house on the same street 3 x the amount and when called out on it, they will ignore you again. They have no respect for the people buying their properties, their workmanship and '5 star quality build' is anything but the truth and they have people working for them that tell you things to your face and then lie on emails. Only buy a Barratt house if you want nothing but stress for months after.Update, they replied giving me 48hrs to state more information, which is not enough time which clearly shows how little they support there customers.

I have visited the Kingsbrook development on 4 occasions and the sales advisor has been exceptionally helpful on each one. The first was when the flats were still under construction but she explained all about the development and showed me another property so I could see the finish of the kitchen, bathroom and flooring. The following was to decide if I wanted ground or 1st floor. Once again I wasn’t rushed or swayed towards anything. I was invited for a third visit as the flat I had shown a preference towards was finished. The fourth was to show my sons and for their input. The sales advisor spent a lot of time explaining everything to them and answered many questions they had. We walked around the development, which is large but spacious, and decided it was perfect for me so we went to reserve it. The sales advisor once again made sure we were all happy and understood everything. A big decision for me but not once was I rushed.
