Well we have come to the end of the road with the purchase of our new Barrett’s home on the Rybank Estate in Yapton.It was a big wrench leaving Birmingham / Solihull after 70 years and moving to Yapton, but we are very pleased with our new home and the process of purchase has been easy due to the effects of our main contact Pina Masella, who when she was not available was ably assist by Caroline.Whenever we had a question it was always answered straight away, the ladies could not have been more informative and helpful, both are a credit to company of Barratt’s who should be grateful for their efforts.A special mention also for the site guy Jess who was helpful and informative with explanations whenever a question was asked.We give our highest recommendation to the staff we have meet and dealt with on the Rybank Estate.

Honestly this company are ridiculous! They’re workmen damaged our membrane in the back garden whilst building the house behind, which caused our garden to flood. We now have a ridiculous amount of weeds at the back because of this and they won’t do anything! Nobody else is affected bar us! So many other issues as well and they won’t do anything! Stay clear of this company, if I didn’t love our house as much I would move. I just wish it was with a different company!

Our family has recently purchased a new build house in St. Clements View, Wallyford. The Barratt team has been exceptional, proactive, and incredibly helpful. The house was finished in high standard, which is agreed by our snagging surveyor. We have excellent experience all the way from viewing to actual living in our own house. Sales Team: We met Adriano when we first visited St. Clements View for viewing. He patiently listened to us and tried to understand our needs through our conversation. This gave us an unexpectedly pleasant viewing experience that we ever had. And then Nina followed up our purchase. From team call to handing us the keys, Nina provided excellent support. We have already got a solicitor company contacted but then didn’t receive any response. Nina assisted us to get in touch with the branch manager of the solicitor company and the whole procedure went smooth and fast afterwards. Site team, especially our site manager Shaun, couldn’t have done more for us. Shaun is not only nice and helpful but also goes above and beyond to assist. He patiently addressed all our queries and followed up all the defects, including those we didn’t notice. When we have problem raised, Shaun appeared and responded swiftly. We are very happy to have chosen St. Clements View with this wonderful team assisting in this important step in our life. Thank you to the entire team!Lee Ki & Owen

I have recently bought a new home (Moresby) from Barratt on the Parc Fferm Wen development at St Athan in the Vale of Glamorgan. I must say, from start to finish I have had nothing but a fantastic experience. I first met with Jon and Leighton who were patient, knowledgeable and helped me with any questions I had. At this stage the house I purchased was only knee high in bricks. They allowed me/helped me pick the internal fixtures and fittings to dress it to my liking and it was built for me that way. The build went to plan and before I knew it I was handed the keys to my new home. The build quality is fantastic and everything is finished to the highest standard. The Site Manager Kurt and his aftersales team Managers Anthony and Rich have been amazing. Always there if I need any assistance or advice. Calling me from time to time to ensure everything is going well and to fix any issues I may have, they have been great. The most impressive thing of all is that even though when I moved in, they were still building 5 houses around my own, all the workman were respectful, courteous and thoughtful. Ensuring roads were clear, passable, safe and clean. The whole site is always clean and great care and effort have been made by all the team at Barratt.

Overall experience is very satisfactory even though there are some small glitches. sales adviser Nicola was outstanding throughout the journey. Site manager Adrian is very helpful and responds very quickly on any queries raised.Some Could have been better and examples are as follows1. Garden panel already broken before I officially moved in and looksLike more will break in coming days as some of the panels fixing not that great (small and limited screws were used and detaching easily).2. Garden surface could have been levelled properly and it’s uneven and will cost us more to level the surface for landscaping.3. Bathrooms - No sockets in some bathrooms and in some bathroom shaver switch was placed very close to door. Hard to use them for led mirror lighting.
