Don't touch these properties if they have a scan lans service charge. I pay 41.60 a month for a none existence service for a 2 bedroom coach house on saxon view nuneaton while others are only paying 12.50 to 25 and they charges have dropped from over 30 a month. Once you get this they charge what they want and the owners have no rights. I've been in six months and paid over 250 for no services

Helpful sales staff a positive…. Negatives include ridiculous price of optional extras eg spotlights ( ie. £180 each !!) for kitchen for example, extortionate especially when the house wasn’t even at first fix stage and installing them would have been really easy. Also couldn’t upgrade individual items , so if I wanted a better oven I could only have it will a kitchen upgrade package which would have included things I didn’t want eg wine cooler. Our buying chain was problematic resulting in a delay completing of two months (through no fault of ours) but that didn’t stop Barrett’s threatening to remove our deal and potentially even cancel our purchase on several occasions despite there being nothing we could do as the delay wasn’t anything to do with us. So far ( only been in the house 2 days) but quite satisfied with the general standard of fit and finish.

Great service so far. We’re in the early stages of finding a new home in Eastbourne; Meadowburne Place and I had a call from Hannah, Who was a great help! Twice this week, I've tried to make an appointment to view/enquire about homes. I've spent time looking at different house styles online, comparing room sizes, layouts, etc. I've just found it difficult - yes, I was going to have an appointment tomorrow but would arrive a little late due to a previous commitment (which I changed to accommodate) but would then only have a short appointment. I did not want to feel rushed so said I would just leave it, I was breezily told okay. I do not feel valued as a potential customer, and it makes me think that once Barratt have your money they're going to be gone, ie not much aftershaves customer care. I'll spend my money elsewhere.
