I have nothing but high praise to everyone I’ve dealt with at Barratts. From Amy and Louis from the sales office who I truly believe made my move possible. Also the site staff have been amazing! Any issues have been dealt with so swiftly I’m amazed at how helpful and caring everyone we have dealt with have been. Simon has been amazing since we’ve moved in. The sales team and sales progressor …

The sales team and sales progressor were most helpful throughout the process.However, on the day of completion the house hadn’t been cleaned: there was concrete dust everywhere, pieces of rubble and sawdust in the kitchen cupboards.Thankfully, the team were apologetic and gave us a ‘sparkle clean’ two days later.We could have been informed that the tenure of the houses opposite had been changed from privately owned to Housing Association. This wasn’t indicated on the interactive site plan. Overall a very good quality build.

We had the best experience when buying out new home. Hannah from Meadowburne place in Eastbourne was very knowledgeable and efficient, provided an excellent service (especially after an another adviser felt to update us and send us required informations. Home is very nice and so far everything goes well. We also have to say that site manager Rob is excellent. We’re very happy.

We’ve had nothing but issues

We’ve had nothing but issues with our Barratts home. Customer service are awful. Don’t do it. They will be so lovely and welcoming when doing the sale but once they have your money, they run. Wished we never bought from them. Our experience of buying our first home was completely ruined and I now lose sleep over the on going complaints a year after completion. We raised a formal complaint and they still haven’t done anything and keep just trying to throw money at us rather than fixing their poor build.

Friendly relaxed and professional

We have recently reserved a new home on a Barratt development near us. Our experience so far has been excellent. Ian, the sales advisor was so good to deal with, friendly and knowledgable and took the time to talk through the process with us. He took us onto the site and allowed us time to look around the plot whilst describing how the layout would be completed. We were never rushed and it always felt relaxed. We first met with Ian over a year ago when we very first visited the site and he remembered that meeting. We negotiated the purchase with Ian and he was friendly and professional throughout, making the whole process relaxed and enjoyable. Our first reservation meeting was with Greg who as the sales manager was covering over the bank holiday weekend. He was great to deal with and really helpful and ensured we had a great deal on our new home.Overall I am really happy with the service we have experienced, the deal we have and the home we have chosen. A nice experience.

Our experience buying our new Barratt…

Our experience buying our new Barratt home has been nothing but first class. Julie our site agent had spent so much time keeping us updated over many weeks whilst we sold our previous house. She supported us through our frustrations with both our buyers and estate agent. She kept us updated with pictures of our new home as it progressed as being in Aylesbury was too far away for us to visit. A credit to the company is Julie.On moving in you face a number of challenges but site manager Andy has been nothing but super supportive in dealing with a number of questions and sorting out those teething problems that you face when entering a new property. In our first week in tge new property Andy popped in on a daily basis to check everything was ok whether it was boiler concerns to having the grass cut in the gardens. Whenever we gave had to give a call directly, he is extremely courteous and nothing is a problem. Even when he is on the new builds with his team he will still call in when-he is available to do so. A credit again to the company.This has been our fourth and final move with Barratt and we have never been disappointed.

From our initial meeting with the development manager until after we moved into our home, Barratt provided us with excellent service. We have quickly received answers to any questions or problems we have had. Our development team worked really hard to assist us in getting our house, and we were lucky to receive a 5% deposit contribution. Barratt's services and homes are excellent; the attention to detail and quality even in the slightest features are excellent!

Ok for first 6 months but once hand…

good for first 6 months with onsite care but once hand over to customer care for remainder of 18 months warranty its terrible its like i am the PA and have to tell customer care what on site has done and Customer care barely respond to emails Lets hope I get no further major issues to be clear on site are great, off site couldn't organize a party in a brewery. Don't talk to each other expect me to do it for them clearly not using any software to manage this problems very poorPlot 230 bourne for reference (didn't try very hard to identify me either really)
