Having had a positive and efficient experience when buying my house through Nicol and co it was an easy decision to choose them when I decided to sell 2 years later. Leanne has not only been efficient and seen me to the end of a positive sale, but also been patient and kept me calm when needed along the way. Selling houses is not just doing the right paperwork, its being there alongside your client throughout the often unpredictable journey. Totally recommend both Leanne and Nicol and Co.

Leanne has been incredibly helpful to us throughout our sale chasing our purchase and just providing regular support and updates. It has not been easy at times and yet Leanne was great in helping us find solutions and liaising with other parties on our behalf. Having dealt with various letting agents as students and regular tenants we've had some bad experiences and can be cynical however it was an absolute pleasure to deal with Abigail Hill at Nicol & Co. From our initial phone call to book our viewing to the after care nothing was too much trouble and everything was carried out in a professional and efficient manner. The whole process was smooth and we were kept fully informed at every stage. I recommend Abi and Nicol & Co to anyone renting or selling their house now. A pleasure to deal with.

View AgentsLettings: poor service, aggressive, defensive, never fix repairs
Rented a property through Nicol&Co and would not recommend this agent for lettings. Seemed very accommodating at first but once they've got your money, you can wave goodbye to a decent level of service from them. A couple of examples: a window was broken and they were more concerned about an potential insurance claim against them arising from broken glass falling on a passing pedestrian, rather than the fact the pedestrian might be scarred for life and seriously injured or even killed if broken glass falls on them. In fixing this, they gave the keys to my home to a sub-contractor of a sub-contractor, who was unknown to them and told him he could enter my home whether I was there or not. Long story short, he was an unsavoury character who entered my home when he thought I would be at out at work, despite my specific and repeated instructions not to do so. When I complained to Nicol&Co, they told me that I did not need to know when he would be letting himself in. They were very defensive and tried to justify their appalling contempt for tenant safety, security and peace of mind. Another example: I had a water leak in the bathroom which Nicol&Co made no effort to fix for literally a year and a half. When I later needed repairs to a broken light fitting in the bathroom and another water leak, Nicol&Co ignored these outstanding repairs for 6 months until I eventually withheld the rent in protest. True to form, the money-focused employees at Nicol&Co then suddenly gave it their attention, but not without sending me an email containing threats, lies and fabricated laws. This company claim they provide a high level of service to tenants, but this is laughable as they are a greedy lettings agent who are only interested in the money and treat their tenants with contempt, rudeness and dishonesty. I would recommend avoiding this agent if you are looking to rent a property in Worcestershire.

View AgentsThis was our first purchase through Nicole & Co and as with anything involving numerous parties and something as sensitive as a home and all the complexities that brings it can be challenging to say the least to keep things on track. From the moment our offer was accepted Leanne introduced herself and became our main point of contact for any queries or updates. Leanne is extremely professional, always available when needed and controlled all of the communications and actions as we drew closer to completing, ensuring that everything was in hand and any obstacles that presented themselves were quickly assessed and dealt with. I found her a pleasure to interact with and I am hugely reassured to be working alongside her again as we progress our second purchase with Nicole & Co.
