Went to see Morris Homes at Deerwood Fold Hilton today. Not a formal appointment but hubby said let's go and look as we've been looking for a new house whilst planning our house sale. Met at the site by Aimee who couldn't do enough for us. Lovely friendly young lady who made us very welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Saw two houses and they were beautiful, just what we're looking for. A beautiful, huge kitchen that couldn't look better if we'd designed it ourselves. Generous lounge and bedrooms too. To be honest, the best we've seen and we've seen a large number of new houses in the area. Aimed took us through the stages of buying and made us feel valued customers despite us being only at an early stage of selling. We're hoping we can sell quickly and move into this lovely development in Hilton. Delighted with it all so far. Andrea and Stephen Charity

We recently just completed on a property purchase with Morris Homes and I have to say, that my Mother who I purchased the home for was absolutely elated. Service was excellent. The journey has been great, respectful and more importantly stress-free which was great! Kudos to Megan initially, Site Managers & more recently Aimee Hill, absolutely fantastic service!! We are so happy!!

Buying a house as we all know is challenging and has to be right. Hannah at Princes Meadows fully understands this. We have visited the site on many occasions and every time Hannah is positive and supportive, in spite of the endless questions and concerns we’ve had. She’s great at offering constructive advice and options. She’s a pleasure to deal with. That said we still haven’t made our decision!

We recently reserved at property on the St Mary’s Park development, and our experience so far has been fantastic. We are always warmly welcomed by Carol, who is incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about all the properties available, including all the added extras that come with the property. The show homes were of great quality, and we appreciated being able to explore them at our own pace without feeling pressured. Carol made sure to answer all our questions and offered to keep us informed of any updates. We are yet to meet Vic but she too has been very helpful over the phone. We highly recommend this development to anyone looking for a new home!

We were able to enjoy visiting the show homes in our own time and were not pressured at all but were offered the opportunity to provide our details for future contact if needed.

We are so pleased with our house in Preston. Sales advisor Julie was very helpful and professional. Julie helped us a lot from when we came for viewing to finish. The homes are good quality and the customer service is excellent. Site Manager Matt, is very professional and helpful. He made sure every issue we had were sorted. Just reserved a property at Kirkham through the Morris on site sales rep Hannah and couldn’t be happier with the service received. Hannah spent a lot of time with us explaining everything in great detail but also made it an enjoyable experience through her jovial personality. Buying a house is a big decision and quite daunting but helped take any concerns or worries away. Nothing ever seemed too much. Highly recommend.

My wife and I had an issue regarding our plumbing, whereby we needed immediate service as we couldn't stop the constant flow of water.We were put through to the After Care team and spoke to Kate Kennedy, who was nothing short of brilliant and empathetic.She not only put our mind at rest, but also immediately contacted MB Heating and explained the seriousness regarding our situation.Dave Hindley from MB Heating promptly came and fixed the issue with professionalism and care for our property.We cannot thank Kate and Dave enough, and they are a credit for their respective companies and epitomises what great customer service looks like.Thank you again!!

TrustpilotDo not buy from Morris Homes!
We reserved our house at Bartle Meadows two months before it was supposed to be ready and Morris delayed it each week by one week for four months, not once did they pick up the phone to let us know this was happening, they relied solely on us to chase them each week for an update. We thought that this ordeal was over when we moved in but in fact it was just the beginning, we had over 300 snags that were identified, one of theses involved 22 out of 24 windows being damaged, now nearly two and a half years later there are still over 100 left. We have had six different site managers over the last two years and we have had to start from the beginning with each one of them as there appears to be no handover or notes stored by Morris on the outstanding snags, Morris’s contracts manager Darren Simpson told the site manager not to prioritise our snags as they should be focused on building the rest of the site rather than dealing with us. In addition to this Morris managed to issue opposing deeds to us and our neighbours which caused needless tensions between us. It took Morris over two years before they rectified these issues. We have had to take countless days off work waiting for trades to show up to fix the outstanding snags and more often then not they don’t show up or show up with inadequate equipment to undertake the job. One of these events involved a roofer turning up to fix a broken roof tile without any ladders. I would strongly recommend you do not buy a house from Morris as they do not seem to care about their customer service, the quality of their workmanship nor the disruption this causes to you.

Bought a Morris home in June 2014.Had nothing but nasty surprises ever since.Cannot remember all the things on the snagging list as there are far too many to mention. Also been fobbed off by what they call 'customer service'.The road still hasn't been adopted and there is a decent sized pot hole outside my house that is growing by the years.Every time we make improvements we are met with the harsh reality of all their bodged jobs.The downstairs WC had a crack in the soil pipe and was incorrectly fitted so that raw sewage was collecting on the floor behind. To remedy this means digging out the concrete floor and replacing.We had a new front door fitted recently and this is when we discovered that our front garden was actually landscaped above the damp course. There has been traces of damp in the living room, and the air brick that was buried under the soil probably helped the masses of worms, slugs and woodlice that wefrequently get. Remedial work to take out alot of the soil, put in aco drains and is costing around £1000. Then there's the cost of replacing established shrubs.Let's not mention the toxic lease that has increased by 47% after 10 years.Thinking of buying a Morris home???Don't bother
