If I could give no stars I would. I'm afraid to say the professionalism of this agency is shocking. As a vendor of the office, we felt they didn't act in our interests to bring the sale to a speedy conclusion and their customer service skills need a lot of work. Emails were not responded to from the sales manager OR the area manager and vital bits of information on our chain were never relayed to us. We ended up doing their job for them in order to keep the chain together and they still expect to get paid. From start to finish, it was difficult to get things done. Only after a formal complaint did they become a bit more proactive. Overall, would not recommend. Even in dispute over the account and they don't have the courtesy to respond to us.

I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received from Lee Barry @ Michael Graham. He was down to earth, easy to reach and kept me updated at every turn. We had a few hiccups during the process (which was not the fault of the agent), but he kept everything together and stress free. Once it was advertised they were invisible. The member of staff they sent to show round the first prospective buyer had never seen the property and knew nothing about it so we had to take over. The same thing happened with the next viewer with a different member of staff who had also never visited the property previously and, once again, we had to explain everything to the prospective purchaser. It took 9 months to exchange and they did not communicate with us or the purchaser at any time after the first few weeks so we exchanged contact details with the purchaser and did the rest between us. Even when it came to handing over the keys, Michael Graham never asked to get involved so we even did that ourselves. Having to pay them almost £11,000 for doing next to nothing is what gets estate agents such a bad reputation and Michael Graham certainly exemplified this.

All the staff at Michael Graham Aylesbury take a real interest in not only the property but you the vendor and everyone in the family is treated as they themselves would want to be treated. Valuations are realistic and honest and not just bumped up to get the business. They provide suitable and prospective buyers and do not just push anyone through the door to prove they are doing something and wasting your time. They provide regular feedback and when there are problems in the chain they work hard to sort out the issues and provide solutions. If every Estate Agent was as good as the staff in this office then the whole profession would not get the bad press it so often deserves. Highly recommended in every respect.

There are estate agents and there are estate agents. The agents’ purpose in truth is to introduce the seller to the buyer and that should be it. However Michael Graham had advertised the property we fell in love with and from that point started a difficult and frustrating trail. The vendor proved to be extremely difficult to encourage to actually move and their choice of solicitor was questionable. From the initial offer we were clear that a significant time line was involved. This did not seem to concern the vendor or their solicitor, thankfully up stepped the guys at Michael Graham. To say that their involvement ensured the house purchase, is an understatement. They were aware of our situation and left no stone unturned to help us achieve the purchase. The level of communication was second to none and continual updates were either received or provided upon contact. The tireless efforts of Lee and his associates were instrumental in moving us forward with a vendor who seemed blissfully unaware that a time line was involved. The friendly nature and awareness of our concerns and situation gave us a level of understanding that made us feel as if they were a member of the family, taking the journey with us. To say that either of the members of their staff are welcome to come round anytime is an understatement. We will forever be indebted to them as without their assistance and persistence, our dream home would not be ours.
