Google3 weeks I've been trying to view a property for. Over 10 times I've rang everytime getting told they would get back to me it's borderline ridiculous. Still waiting now. Id think twice about using these to host your property, I literally avoid properties when I see the Adams sign now.

GoogleI have noticed many good reviews but sadly as a 'buyer' I was not impressed at all, maybe they do their best for a seller as they will get a commission. I had to deal with 3-4 individuals from this company in Widnes and my appraisal of them is not good at all. From the beginning whilst making an offer and discussing options and really wanting to make sure of our decision, we were phoned and very rudely asked or even demanded to know (and I will paraphrase) dyou wannit or wah? and also told "you'll not get a cheaper place in Widnes than this price for that type of property" Talk about rude! Anyway we did reluctantly go ahead with the deal until we went around to check some measurements and found decorators tools and a large pool of water in the dining room. On questioning the manager about this I was told the obvious that it looked like someone was decorating... Yes I said but why? And why the large pool of water? Also there was a dehumidifier tucked under the stairs and they couldn't tell me why that was present either so I told them the deal was off until they could get an explanation for all the oddities. I did get a house buyers building report done and the surveyor did say the area was known for damp and that when he was there there was a decorator there which he thought strange, as the price of sale had already been agreed.He also said that there was no dehumidifier present when he made his survey... although we noticed there was before and after the survey hmmm. As the manager did not get back to me in good time with the answers I made a point of sending an email to him highlighting the severity of the problems and that it was the reason we were quickly deciding to change our minds. Sadly the manager was unable to respond but someone else from the company did to say that he couldn't. I then had to wait a few days before they got back to me to tell me they had trouble getting through to the vendor and when they did he just said they were decorating but they did not give specific reasons for the decorating, the water or dehumidifier. They did not offer at any point after the questions I had asked to reassure us or even find out for us the specific reasons for the strange happenings. I mean would you want to buy a house with an unexplained pool of water and intermittent dehumidifier appearances? My conclusion is, and these are only my theories, that they had another buyer in the wings who maybe wanted to pay a different price or they simply could not be bothered. Either way they acted unprofessionally and in a manner where I can honestly say I do not trust them, if I was buying through them I would certainly be aware of everything about them. Maybe in the next property crash they wont be so callous and respect the buyer and seller alike. I do find it intriguing that a negotiation should go so far and then the agent completely fail and give up to answer a few simple questions and bring the negotiation to an end due to what seems like incompetence. It is also frustrating that we paid in part solicitors fees and a surveyors report, this is an updated review and it makes me laugh when they answer below about 'I should of complained' .. I did! Oh and don't forget they have been selling houses in Widnes for 28 yrs, this has no bearing on the subject at all. Next stop the regulator!

GoogleYou have got to use these people. They did the most amazing job under very very difficult circumstances to get my purchase sorted. I know its a team effort but ask for Angie, she is organised, tenatious and totally focused on delivering a result for buyers and sellers. I didnt think my purchase would happen but Angie kept the whole thing together. Many many thanks!

GoogleThey have a very nice property I like however the flat will be vacant on March 10 and it doesn't work for me. I need to move in by the end of the month. Overall good. They have very pretty houses and flats.

Unfortunately, we do not have any at this moment in time. The property you discussed that is available in March is only part-furnished. GoogleFantastic service from Adams from start to finish. Whenever I called the office and Angela wasn't in, every other member of staff knew the status of the sale. They chased both solicitors on behalf of myself and kept me up to date at all times!
