GoogleI've recently been dealing with Rik, Joe and James at Loc8 Loughborough and they have all been great! As a landlord I've been looking for agents who are responsive and also responsible and these guys are all over both. When there are maintenance issues they deal with them promptly and efficiently, often getting quotes from a couple of contractors or multiple options. Not only repairing the issues but also thinking about the longevity of the repairs and futureproofing. Thanks guys, looking forward to working with you further!

GoogleOne of the worst experiences I've had so far. The maintenance system is a complete joke. I've been sleeping in a broken bed for 11 months and have gotten injuries. All they could respond was by saying sorry. Im not sure about the other landlords. But the one here is absolute worse. If you decide to make a stand by not paying rent until the maintenance is done. They just threaten to call your guarantor. I don't want you apologies . I want compensation

Kirsty Black in the Durham office is one of those rare individuals in life who understands the whole situation with regards to student letting from both the student and landlord perspective. She is always exceptionally quick to respond to any issues that occur and treats both students and landlords extremely efficiently and fairly. As a longstanding landlord the Durham office are excellent to deal with, with Kirsty Black standing out as an absolute star in this business.

We have had many handlers throughout our tenancy, when problems such as the fridge breaking down have arrived they have taken months to rectify the issues. Things such as the TV which were on our our contract that we’re supposed to be provided we’re only installed in the later half of the tenancy and so on. That being said, overall it has been an ok experience. Small issues such as being emailed in a semi threatening tone about rent arrears (which had been paid on direct debit) and even after calling and showing proof continued to occur because of their side of the system. We have now vacated, this process has thankfully been made easy due to one of their genuinely impressive employees: Emma. We will see how the process to receive our deposits will be, as we had heard some stories from previous tenants. If that runs smoothly too, I will be sure to bump the rating up to 3 or even 4 stars.

The staff in the Durham branch is amazing. I locked myself out of my house as I forgot the key in and Alex at the office was pretty quick to send someone to open the door for me in 10 mins or something. Today been 21/06/24, loc8me letting agency is still chasing me to pay them rent, haven't been served with section21 to force me out of their property, l left there property at the beginning of June and the still threatening me with court, the emailed me saying that the got no choice than to contact my guarantor, l left there property and the still wanted me to pay them rent. This letting agency is a SCAM, a rip off and l am waiting for the end of June and l need them to refund my deposit of £150. Then l shall take it from there. loc8me gave me 2 months before the evict me from there property to there own detriment, l left at the first 1 month of notice, before the duration of the eviction, so due to there greed l was smarter than them, there manager Jark has been on the front with series of emails demanding me to pay but Jark is misleading himself as manager. From there head office the have cancelled my contract and issued me a copy but Jark doesn't know that. Below was the last email from the letting agency theaten me.Hello After numerous unsuccessful attempts to contact you regarding your rental arrears we are now left with no alternative but to contact your guarantor.I would like to remind you of your legal obligation to settle the agreed amount on the agreed date as per your AST. Failure to do so will result in legal action being taken against you & your guarantor.Kind regardsThe Team @ Loc8meTel. 01509 278750
