Assets manager (+44 7827 131285) at the Loughborough branch has been absolutely horrendous in whatsapp communication with my new flat amongst various issues, had to ring to get any type of response, and despite mentioning them in chats asking to rectify the same issue, they read and do not even have the courtesy to reply to say they’ve seen it! Disgusting customer service and not impressed with the start of my experience with loc8 me.

Major things to note

To be fair, the Agency has a lot of amazing staffs, especially Amy and Eve. I decided to sign my contract with them, Just because of their commitment and sincere desire to make the place a comfortable one for me.However, I do not like the fact that when a room is already taken it is still placed on viewing for another potential tenant.I also don’t like the way certain questions are being answered, it only shows that they lack communication skills.

Horrendous Communication!!!

I lived in a 5 bed student property that was sold to Loc8me 2 days prior to the end of my tenancy. The WhatsApp group chat we were added to, we believe was being run by multiple employees on the same account, as we had to answer the same questions over and over again. We also received a lot of conflicting information from Loc8me regarding the return of our keys, with them citing a contract that they believed we had signed with them, when, in reality, our contract was with an entirely different letting agency. It took us multiple days to explain something that they should have already known, and that could have been rectified by simply scrolling back through the group chat. The whole experience just kept adding to the stress of moving out. When I returned our keys, I spoke with two employees and made both aware that one of the tenants had lost their keys (something we had already communicated to our previous management), however, we received a message in the group chat two days later asking where the 5th set of keys were. All in all, I would not suggest renting from this company, as it is clear from all these miscommunications that Loc8me is an incredibly disorganised company, and I wouldn't be surprised if the employees simply do not talk to one another in the office.
