GoogleWe have only been at Lettings angels since July, however they have been brilliant so far! As soon as we report something they’re at the house straight away to fix it, have replaced old mattresses for us and any other requests we’ve had- they’re so on it! The girls at the office are so friendly, so would definitely recommend to anyone who is uncertain about what landlord to go for next year!

GoogleRented for 1 year, the property was great, they were not. Our tumble dryer would trip the electrics whenever turned on and they did not fix this issue until 1 month was remaining on my tenancy. To make matters worse, our fuse box was only accessible from the shop underneath the flat. So, if the electrics were tripped in the evening, the power would be out until the following morning. They repeatedly missed communications to tell them that certain times were not ideal for viewings/visits from them. Tried to take an extortionate amount out of our deposit after moving out, which fortunately DPS was able to sort out. They tried to deduct £410 for regrouting and resealing the bathroom even though the damage before and after moving out was completely identical. They even sent an email to me after moving out, advising me to seek legal action over missing rent to the amount of £793. Which was false, this was instead the amount I was disputing with DPS. They were just incredibly slow to deal with any issues raised, which was very frustrating as they had given less than 24 hours notice on multiple occasions when they wanted access to the property. Overall, very poor service and I wouldn’t ever rent from them again and would advise against anyone else doing the same. Take care :)

GoogleTerrible lettings agents. We had a hole in the roof for months, lettings agents knew exactly what the issue was, landlord could’ve easily paid as she owned multiple dental surgeries. Instead, we ended up having constant leaks, damp throughout the entire house, mold everywhere, and the worst part, fist sized mushrooms growing out of bathroom ceiling due to the damp. On top of this, the lettings agents had the audacity to ask for us to clean the house and tidy the garden. Terrible agency and a team that makes excuses instead of fixing issues to protect their landlords.

GoogleOur experience with Sales and Letting Angels was extremely disappointing due to their inadequate online communications and their maintenance staff repeatedly entering our premises without providing the required 24-hour notice. It has been frustrating and unprofessional. The letting agency's online communication was severely lacking. They were slow to respond, often leaving us waiting for days for a simple reply, if we received one at all. Their unresponsiveness made it difficult to address issues or get important information in a timely manner, they would say they’d ring/email back however we’d end up either in the office for answers or having to chase them up via telephone. It was an unacceptable level of service. Furthermore, men constantly just walked through our doors either doing routine checks, cleaning or doing general maintenance work. They consistently entered our property without giving us the legally mandated 24-hour notice, disregarding our right to privacy. This invasion of our personal space created a sense of unease and violated the trust we should have had in the agency's professionalism. 2 months into mistakenly renting again through this agency we are already having issues. Any amendments fees charged to tenants for changing a contract is legally not allowed and was banned in 2019. Despite the law, we were told we had to pay a £350 plus VAT to replace a tenant. They had told us we were not allowed to send any details of the new tenant until this was paid. Everything that was said Via email vs in office contradicted itself. After looking around on gov websites and speaking to citizens advice they confirmed this is against the law and any fees of this sort would be charged to the landlord not the tenants. 2 months of stress and financial difficulty to just be told by our landlords there is no fee for changing the contract. Ultimately, the agency has tried to scam us into paying this, beware and do your research before sending your money.

GoogleIf there was a 0 star that would be for them. Terrible experience. I’ve been renting 7 years in the UK but I’ve never seen an agency like that. At the start of the tenancy the property was in a really bad condition not cleaned at all. During the tenancy the kitchen roof in my property start leaking very bad. 4 months they didn’t fix it. Landlord never make any effort to repair or maintain the property. Also the letting agent never supply with letterbox key. Strongly recommend to stay away from this agency !!!

Googlei rent a studio flat from property angels the electricity went off in the flat people came out to fix it no joy so property angels booked me into a hotel for 2 days then we found out it would take up to 6 days to fix the problem. so property angels extended my stay until the problem was fixed. Angelina and hazel were in contact with me through out the job. Angelina and hazel are absolutely great people to deal with they are brilliant at there job I can't speak highly enough of them nothing was a problem for them anything you asked or needed they would deal with it straight away. so if you are looking to sell or rent I highly recommend you go with property angels.

GoogleAvoid this company at all cost. The only likeable thing about that office is the dog. Tried to swindle us 2500 at the end of our tenancy to which we had a solicitor look at and we received 2300 back. I personally had to move out the room due to a leaking window, that took 4 months for someone to have a look at. It was nearly impossible to contact them. When I finally managed to get them on the phone the owner of the company was rude and not helpful in the slightest and I believe only answered the phone to have an argument. Genuinely Had to put the phone down on her i was getting a migraine. Recently my house mate sent our new rent to them, this in December. After contacting them immediately and then then trying to hold the money, progressing to we will send at end of week. It was only once involvement of court was involved the money appeared. They will either ignore my review, or claim they have no record of me on the system. Truly awful company.

Such a bad review is a result of having been scammed, it's so easy for them to write a reasonable answer here where you can't even respond to it. They're so eager to take the money and will find any way to keep it without providing any service. Why bother actually renting the place when the money is already yours. Disgusting company, just read the bad reviews and realize it could've been you.

If you want to kiss your money goodbye, this is the company for you. We made an agreement with Letting Angels regarding our rent, and received repeated written confirmation of this arrangement by e mail. It turns out that written confirmations by e mail are not legally binding, and if you act in good faith on their words, more fool you. Your money is gone. Maybe they knew that they were providing us with incorrect information. Then they are duplicitous. Maybe they did not know that they were providing us with incorrect information. Then they are incompetent. After months of arguing with them, we are still £2,800 out of pocket. I cannot recommend this company.

GoogleFound a flat on rightmove that property angels are managing on behalf of the landlord. From the first enquiry, they were so helpful and informative, they carried out plenty of checks, when I went to sign the tenancy they gave me a ton of paperwork for gas/electric checks, PAT testing, legionnaires disease, even before that they carried out a detailed survey of the property with pictures and information so you knew everything that was there and its condition. Having now lived here 4 months so far, still very happy, if I need help with anything, they are on the ball and send their people (handyman, electrician) out whenever suits me as I arrange directly with the person, and the problem gets resolved. Staff have always been so lovely, especially Hazel and Angie. Keeps me feeling safe knowing I've got good people and not some dodgy landlord you constantly worry about.

GoogleAbsolutely shocking and awful Agency. We've rented property at Wrangholm Drive in New Stevenston. Property was made to look nice, but after few weeks paint started coming off from the walls, doors, even from tiles in bathroom. Poor windows broken and moulded. Mould problem starts showing off not long time after moving in. Of course Agency's solutions was painted the walls! In November 2022 we had first Property check, everything was fine, all issues We've reported were taken seriously and noted in. Agency worker Angie said flat is in very good condition, she noticed that we're taking care about it very well. We decided to move out as bad windows and mould affects our health. To the point, Agency is trying to charge as for painting walls and carpets cleaning. Everything was cleaned to high standard and after 18 months of living there this is definitely wear and tear. I don't recommend this Agency and this flat. Terrible place!
We are disappointed to learn of your dissatisfaction Aleksandra, however we are obliged under Scottish housing law and also to the owner to report on how we find and see a property at the exit point. As you may be aware your deposit is held with a Scottish government authorised deposit holder, 'My deposit Scotland' and any disputes regarding deposit return will be considered by the same body. We do hope resolution is reached to the satisfaction of all relevant persons as soon as possible. Property Angels Letting and Management.
