GoogleStarted my lettings quest with Lauristons, and had the fortune to work with Georgina. She is very professional with her approach, helps you understand the key aspects of renting (very important if you are new to UK like me), while also being very friendly and genuine, almost partnering with you to hunt the most suitable property. Highly recommended!

GoogleI bought my Wimbledon flat in 2014 and was so impressed with the team at Lauristons that I always promised I would come back to them if I sold In the middle of July of this year I made the difficult decision to sell. If you've loved somewhere it's never easy to sell and many agents don't appreciate the very personal aspects to buying and selling property From the moment I contacted Chuk, James and the team I felt I was understood and that they actually cared about my situation I had a fixed date I wanted to complete on. Not easy to achieve in a challenging London market. James Wheatley especially was nothing short of amazing from the beginning... Calm, reassuring and informed. Communication between us was faultless with two offers received within 2 weeks I've dealt with many agents and this team is one of the best I've ever worked with I could not recommend them more highly Thank you Lauristons ... GoogleI think that all the statements made here about Lauristons being the worse agency in London are a bit too harsh. There are some really dodgy agents out there! That said, they're not good. The letting agents are unprofessional, and the level of support by the admin team is quite poor. My partner just vacated one of the properties managed by Lauristons, and the horror stories we had experienced could fill a good TrustPilot short story. My advice to future sharers / renters, is that if you have an option to avoid Lauristons - do that - but it's not as bad as the slum landlords you hear about daily
Hi Jaimie, its very difficult to respond to reviews that are not made by our customers and where there is no detail aside from the soundbites. Perhaps if your partner could give us a call at our Wimbledon office, we can better understand what the issues were and try and address them.

GoogleI cannot recommend James highly enough - the most stress free, brilliantly managed and easy transaction I have ever known! I almost forgot i was buying the flat to be honest he dealt with it all so competently behind the scenes!! Knowledgeable, experienced and really responsive. Would 100% recommend!!

GoogleDifficult Experience with Lauristons. While I had a variety of viewings through them and I was able to successfully find a place with them, I had a tremendous amount of difficulty with commuting in and out of town on multiple occasions to produce the paperwork and checks required for them and found them very unaccommodating to this. I received multiple emails (at least three to five) and phone calls per day for outstanding items while at work, and tried my best to answer all questions and provide paperwork in time. But oddly enough, as soon as the contract was signed, the paperwork was completed, and I got the keys to enter the flat, I noticed a few items that were promised to me were still outstanding. I contacted them via e-mail to inquire (as we have been in touch via e-mail throughout the entire process), and I did not receive a response back. A couple of weeks later, I received a 'welcome pack' where I was then instructed that all questions and issues were now to be addressed to the landlord directly. Not really sure what to say about this or if anything further should be done. Just relieved that I have finally moved in altogether. I don't advise using these estate agents if you are coming in from out of London.
Dear Katerina, thank you for your review. It is obviously disappointing to read that you have had a negative experience with us. As a reputable ARLA member agent there are a number of checks we must complete before a tenancy starts and legislations changes every year. Not only do all agents need to satisfy the credit, financial and rental history on all tenants on behalf of the landlord, but we must also on behalf of the government’s ‘Right to Rent’ scheme see an original copy of your passport in one of our offices checked by a member of staff. This process does require a reasonable amount of correspondence both over the phone, email and at least 1 visit to the office in person. In addition to this there were unfortunately some delayed responses relating to people nominated on your references, which is beyond our control. In relation to some items being missing we take our offer process very seriously and have a well-documented procedure when taking offers. As you offered on an unfurnished property I have checked your offer form (holding deposit receipt) and contract which are all consistent with the same items which were all purchased prior to move in. We apologise if you were expecting additional items in conjunction with the ones requested however all such items would have needed to be formally requested as part of the offer process at the beginning of the negotiations. As our welcome pack details your property is not managed by Lauristons, further enquiries to additional items do need to be made directly to your landlord once the tenancy has started. We hope you enjoy your new home and we apologise if the process and your general experience was not as both you and Lauristons would have liked.

GoogleLauren showed me flats in Balham and James in Wimbledon; both were extremely friendly and professional, able to answer any questions on the flats. I ended up making an offer elsewhere which has now fallen through so I will maybe use Lauren again as we have settled for balham but in any case, they were an excellent example of what an estate agent should be like.

GoogleMark Shodipo and his team secured a tenant for my flat last week after being given a very quick timeframe to do it in. I met with a couple of agencies who I didn't feel had my best interests in mind. However, Mark listened, was fast to react, and flexible to my needs. Marcello in his team, found the right tenant I was looking for, was not pushy in a sales kind of way, and always professional. Most importantly they have been reliable throughout the process so far. I was not expecting to have such a positive experience - I would highly recommend this Lauristons team and I will not hesitate to work with them again or recommend them to friends.
