GoogleWe used Lanes Estate Agents to sell our house in Hatfield. We found a property we wanted to buy so needed to move quickly. They had photos and all the necessary admin done super efficiently, our house was advertised and online within a week. On top of that they organized all the viewings on the same day, and we received 3 offers within few days. They did a great job negotiating with the potential buyers and getting us an offer we wanted. Through the sale process they communicated extremely well, kept us updated with the situation on the buyers side and chased solicitors multiple times to speed up the process. I could not recommend them more! Great to work with!

It’s rare to find an estate agent you can trust, but I felt confident working with them. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for future business!

GoogleWe originally put up our flat with Lanes back in Summer of 2023....after a not great experience we took our flat down at Christmas! We decided to give them another chance and went back with them in April after being reassured that this time would be better! Within 2 months our flat was sold! Communication has been great, Kevin has been very supportive of us (even in situations out of our control) and has always been open and honest! Thank you very much for the past few months! It's been a journey! Would recommend 😊

GoogleAfter previously marketing my home with two other estate agents, Lanes were a most welcome change. Paul, Ed and the team are incredibly proactive, as well as honest and effective! Somehow they managed to produce almost three times the amount of viewings in 12 weeks than previous agents did in 8 months put together. Not only that, they never asked me to deal with the viewings, and once when I was worried I’d left the house in a mess, they offered to go 10 minutes early and tidy up 😆 thankfully I hadn't… I honestly can’t fault them; Team Lanes, Cheshunt all the way!

GoogleI wanted to be able to leave a good review of Lanes after the completion of my first property purchase, but alas, it only took a couple of days for the dishonest, deceitful, and outright unethical practices of this business to come to light. Our surveyor was unable to test the water and plumbing of the property as it was switched off at the external stop tap during the survey. After enquiring via both our solicitors and Lanes to the location of the stop tap, Kevin called up to give this information (partially, leaving out a very key detail), and even had the cheek to tell us to follow through with the purchase without testing it. So, after asking multiple times Lanes finally let us test the water, which was passable at best, but at least it worked right? Only after moving in do we find out Kevin had ommited a key detail, that there is an additional stop tap in our neighbours garden controlling the water to the property - and when turned on leaks into the next door neighbours kitchen... which the neighbour had told the seller to fix, but it never was. No wonder Kevin and Lanes were hesitant to let us test the water (which unbeknownst to us had leaked into next doors kitchen when it was turned on for us to test!). Buyers beware, this business is happy to operate in an incredibly unprofessional, deceitful, and quite frankly sly manner. If Kevin is pressuring you to do or avoid something, it's probably worth a more thorough investigation.

GoogleWe can’t rate the Lanes team highly enough - from our initial viewings with Paul and Ed to picking up the keys and moving in (and since bumping into them around Cheshunt!) - they’ve made the whole process an amazing one. Ed has been a huge help and supportive every step along the way and made the buying of our home as smooth and stress free possible, especially around having a baby he made sure everything was ticking along and in place just as it was needed. A brilliant team and a brilliant experience!
