Great team at Lanes Cheshunt. If you're selling a property you definitely want to give them a call. I was a buyer and they were very different to a few other estate agents, it felt like a small family run company. Ed showed us around the property, he knew a lot about it, anything he didn't know, he found out quickly. They keep you in the loop and checked-in regularly throughout the buying process, great for sellers but they also chased up with my lawyer as they were not the best at staying in touch. After the sale, they were very helpful with holding keys to let workers in, which we really appreciated as we didn't live near by. I'd definitely recommend them if you're looking to sell and as a buyer I was definitely impressed with their service, you could always get through to someone at the office or get a callback if they were out. I've never been through the process before but they definitely made it feel smoother. If I ever sell, I know where I'll be going.

Placed an offer onto a property to which we were told it is currently going through with another buyer but they were thinking of pulling out so the vendor wanted to re list with Lanes & find a new buyer asap. Was told numerous times there was a deadline & then the vendor would consider our offer. This deadline was in fact a lie & we were used as bait for lanes to try and take on a new client. Communication from this team was awful and now we have found out the property is off the market due to Rightmove alerts, not the estate agents. Had a horrible experience & very let down.
