I recently used Keenan’s Estate agents in Bury in relation to the sale of my property. I dealt with Melissa throughout. She was extremely professional and took all the stress out of the process. She kept me updated about things on a daily basis and made sure my sale went through without any issues! She is a credit to the company and I wouldn’t hesitate using Keenan’s again if everyone provides service like Melissa does

GoogleWe purchased our first home with Keenans and also sold my parent's property a few months later. I can't honestly say I'm happy with either dealings. The gent that showed us round our new house was a bit arrogant and didn't seem to know what he was talking about in regards to the area. Kieron though, was very helpful and kept us informed with how things were panning out, but that's as good as it got. The valuator that came to my parent's property was friendly enough, but was so quick and wasn't realistic with the valuation. We put it on the market for a lot less than he reckoned and it ended up proving us right in the end. On the day of signing the contracts, I received a phone call from Keenans asking if I'd taken all the carpets up and removed them from the property. This hadn't been mentioned before, but apparently our buyer wouldn't sign unless they were gone. Keenans had zero sympathy and told us we needed to get them removed ASAP. Fast forward to when we put our house on the market, we actually phoned Keenans to come and give us a valuation. Another company came in a week before Keenans could, so we went with them, but were then bombarded with calls nearly every week asking how things were going, which reeks of desperation.NegativeQuality, Value

GoogleI have tried emailing the office twice with no reply and also tried calling but after holding for 10 minutes listening to recorded messages about how they care about customer service I hung up.

GoogleWe did not feel supported by Ella. We constantly had to chase everything and felt she never pushed anything forward. She was off work on two occasions and did not respond to e mails in a timely manner. Alicia supported us on one occasion when Ella was off and she was brilliant. We felt that driving sales was not one of Ellas strengths. We have sold and bought houses over the years and have never felt dissatisfied with an estate agent previously. I would never use Keenan's to represent me in any future sales or purchases.

GoogleI would like to say what a pleasure it is to have had Miannah and George from the Blackburn branch to have taken us through the selling process so far up to us accepting an offer. They have been so professional, pleasant and friendly and never too busy to give us their full attention. They are an absolute credit to Keenans. In fact, everyone I have dealt with at both Blackburn and Accrington have been great. We have now been passed to Alicia in the Progression team who introduced herself in a very friendly and professional manner and I am sure she will support us just as well as all the other staff we have encountered. May I just add also that we were extremely pleased with the photographs that Jess took of our property at the start of our journey!

Chloe was fantastic from the very beginning. Knowledgeable, approachable and honest. Great service and would highly recommend. Kirsty from lettings was also fantastic and initially referred me to the sales department. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both departments.

Keenans have been consistently good performers as letting agents and property managers. I've had very few issues; my property and tenant are well managed, and their processes are relatively stress free. I've recently been working with Joe W on contract renewal. He’s been very efficient and professional.Only room for improvement is updates and follow up. Keenans are excellent at informing you when issues occur and assisting in finding a solution, but sometimes it can take a prompt to find out if there has been progress or if works have been completed. However, when asked, I’ve always had a quick and professional response.

A big thank you to the CLITHEROE office and especially Ella who always kept in touch and reassured me as to how the sales were progressing.

Apparently advised our landlord to keep our deposit as there is an unpaid electric bill. The bill is in dispute with EDF because they haven't been applying money to our account. But they have advised our landlord to keep our money. Sharks! Be very careful.

Emma and the team at Swinton were excellent from start to finish. We had a lot of issues crop up during the purchase of our first home and we genuinely don’t think this purchase would have happened without the effort and dedication from Emma and the team. Our solicitor let us down a lot, but Emma and the team stepped up and went above and beyond to make sure we got our dream home! We found Emma to be extremely knowledgable and she explained everything to us in detail, which was needed given this was our first home. Emma worked tirelessly and answered our queries, no matter what time of day and even stayed late quite often just to make sure things were moving. We were kept updated throughout the process, which we really needed given our Solicitors weren’t that helpful. The client care and pro activity was excellent. We had a loss in the family during the process and Emma was so kind and helpful. We even received some flowers from the team. It was great to know we were in such good hands whilst we were going through such a difficult time.We can’t recommend the team at Keenan’s Swinton enough. Thank you to Matt, who showed us round the house numerous times and even gave us some good tips on DIY! To to all the ladies in the office; Kayleigh, Ellie, Nikki, Georgia thank you for the support it was amazing! You always responded to our queries promptly and were extremely helpful. Finally, thank you to Emma. You are an absolute credit to Keenan’s. We are so happy in our new home and we would not be here without you!

GoogleSpoke to Jonathan in relation to property I viewed .not very nice man to speak to very rude man. Basically doesn't know how to speak to customers. He makes things up. Unfortunately i definitely not recommended this estate agent. The guys don't know how to make a sale.they just fob customers off. I would go somewhere else if I wanted to sell.

GoogleHi! I just want to say a massive thank you to Mollie (Keenan’s- Clitheroe I believe?) who came to take photos of our house today to go on the market. She was soo helpful and kind and went above and beyond to help me out as I had my baby and toddler at home too. She helped me move to some bits and kindly moved them back off her own accord. Thank you so much! You made it such an easy process which I really didn’t think it was going to be! I can’t wait to see the photos when our house goes live. Thank you Mollie and Keenan’s. Jess :)

YellAvoid for property rental
Poor estate agents regarding rental property management. They repeatedly fail to do what they say and have a major problem with poor or sometimes no communication. This is both externally to customers like myself and internally between the teams as they often lack cohesion. Their inspections miss a lot of issues and I certainly would not recommend their services to anyone else. I am actually considering managing the process myself as it feels like I already do so.

I found Keenan's to be very professional from the outset. The quality of the photographs online was excellent and James did a good job of the escorted viewings. Aaron and Nicole liaised with me with feedback after every viewing, and after any conversations with the purchaser and solicitors. They also phoned me on a weekly basis so I always felt that I was kept in the loop. I can highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.
