GoogleElla was very helpful during our house buying journey. Rang us often to keep us informed and always was very useful with finding out information we asked for. On some occasions it was difficult to get ahold of her and she didn’t always return the calls we left but the instances were few and far between. But overall we are very happy with her service

I kept in close contact with them throughout the whole process, they kept me updated regularly because it certainly wasn’t a straight forward purchase by any means and was very challenging. GoogleI can wholeheartedly recommend Keenans to anyone looking to sell their property. From day one, they ensured everything was done to the highest possible standard, from their onboarding process, to the photos and adverts they put out for my property. Despite some complications with the sale, they kept me updated throughout, and nothing was too big of an ask. A special mention to Lewis Chilton who was on top of the sale every step of the way, providing updates the second anything changed. Keenans have an amazing team, across all of their offices, and I simply can't fault them.

GoogleEarly stages with Keenans selling my property but from the first valuation I've found them very polite, professional and the viewings have been coming thick and fast which is really positive for such a short period as the last one had 3 viewings in about 2 months. Really pleased so far, just need to convert into some offers now and all good. Watch this space!!

GoogleHaving arrived in UK early August and looked at 37 houses from Liverpool Northwich, Buxton Macclesfield and Leigh the staff in this office were supportive communicative and friendly without being pushy and an example to many other agents. They understood my odd position and got as much information as I needed to help me make the best decision on the last house I shall buy in this lifetime with a garden I hope ill become a very productive food source .

I used Keenans as managing agents for my home when I was working abroad and needed to let it out.The service was very poor from the word go and cost me directly financially and indirectly through stress.When I gave notice to end my relationship with Keenans they ignored me until I made a formal complaint. Keenans ignored my formal complaint, I went to the ombudsman and Keenans misled the ombudsman, that is the last straw for me, simply breathtaking.I would recommend anyone to avoid Keenans like the plague

Having moved home eight times and also managed a couple of major company relocations earlier in my career, I have a fair idea of the level of assistance estate agents can offer and tend to use them because of their ability to identify a 'good' buyer and to manage the post-offer process. Our initial impressions of Keenan's was positive; the local office was very friendly and achieved our asking price reasonably quickly -although our's was a very sellable house, to be fair. From there everything went downhill. The representative we had been dealing with left and from that point the local office took no further interest. We were 'managed' by someone from a distant office who appeared not to have been briefed about our situation and who by his own admission did not pick up a variety of significant issues affecting our buyer which ultimately caused the sale to come close to falling through. I found myself frequently having to tell him what was going on elsewhere in the chain. He was pleasant enough, but I wanted more than this for the fee I was paying. At the same time I received regular feedback from our buyer and also from another interested party that it was all but impossible to contact Keenan's; phones at the local office went unanswered and people had to come directly to us for information. We received no messages from the local office even when we completed; this confirmed the impression that their initial welcome and friendliness was rather phoney. I wouldn't recommend them to others in the Clitheroe area - there are several better local options.

Totally unprofessionalBooked an appointment, had it confirmed (with a reference number). Chased them up to confirm timings, they had lost the appointment !Totally wasted my morning and ended up in numerous phone calls. Go elsewhere, I would hate to think how they deal with house sales based upon my experience - AVOID THEM.

Absolutely hopeless. I have just tried to engage in a potential purchase through Keenan’s, but they neither answer emails nor phone calls. I got as far as putting in an offer on a property a week ago after chasing them numerous times, but I have literally heard nothing further from them, even after telephoning yet again and leaving a message requesting an update. I am now walking away. There are a number of other agents who are very keen for my business, especially in these difficult economic times, so I will certainly not be wasting any more of my time with Keenan’s.

Very poor customer service, fundamental errors made. Properties not inspected when promised, vital details missed on inspections. Turnover of staff at an alarming rate, no hands off management solutions.

Hi just a warning to people Keenans rawtenstall advertising a property in bacupWe fell in love with, had the survey and local searches done at a cost of around £1500 only to find out that what they advertised was totally misleading the property advertised parking for six vehicles which the property does not have.very poor communication from our initial offer so anybody thinking of buying from these please check everything before making an offer we feel so let down, and would never use them again.
