GoogleOn Tuesday 28th May afternoon,I was walking up and down Norwood Junction high street viewing real estates agencies hoping one of them would help me to find a rental property to move in by June 6th. So yes I was desperate, beyond frustrated and thinking I would never findd anything as everything seemed already taken or i was met with boring stare in every agency i stepped into. Completed defeated I was walking back to the train station when I passed by Jukes & Co. I thought ok last try.
As soon as I walked in, to my pleasant surprise, I was greeted by a friendly, energetic gentlemen named Chris Chefane, the Letting Manager who immidiately offered me a seat after enquiring about my search. He put me at ease and seemed genuinelly willing to assist me. Luckily he had a property to show me. So we drove there but unfortunately I was no keen on the property. What I really appreciated during the viewing, Chris did not act like the usual agressive or pushy salesman, but instead he was very respectful and listened to my comments without making me feel I was in the wrong. Because he was so helpful and good company too, I though if he can' t find me a property no one would! So I pressed him to show me the next flat available. To which he kindly drove us there.
And yes that was the property I was looking for. I couldn't beleive it! A fantastic one bedroom flat freshly decorated. I was a bit anxious because I knew there would be lots of interests for the flat, but Chris reassure me he will forward my application and will do his best to support it.
During th next 3 days he kept me updated with the progress of my application and has also speed us the referencing documentations. On friday 30th May my offer was accepted. Yep. My colleagues and Landlord were all shocked and so happy for me as i have been looking for 7 weeks without success.
I picked up my keys on Thursday 6th June and moved in on friday 7th.
Well now, while typing this review i am comfortably sitting on my sofa with a glass of champagne stil pinching myself in my lovely new flat.
So cheers to Chris Chefane, cannot Thank you enough

I plan to visit the office in person to communicate the concerns to their leadership/ owners as well as ascertain the reasons for failure to reply to emails over a number of weeks.

Despite numerous follow ups and even an escalation to a manager and they fail to investigate and respond / call despite promises.
My strong recommendation is to use a different estate agent.
