Used for a valuation for the sale of our property in Altrincham in summer 2022. The valuation was incredibly hyperinflated compared to all the other agencies we sought valuations from (we got 7 in total, so we had a good idea of the value, and Jordan Fishwick Hale were outliers by a significant amount). In addition to this, the sales team peppered us with emails and phonecalls after our valuation to persuade us to use them, and also sent letters to our home incessantly over the period our house was listed with another agency. The whole sales tactic felt incredibly aggressive and overly ambitious. I wouldn't consider listing with them unless they changed their approach as it was all a bit much.

I have been a tenant with this company for 5 years in the same property, I've been told we need to pay for carpet cleaning for normal wear and tear on the carpet and stefan Bowers has been useless he's taken over with correspondence and he's very slow at replying and getting back to me. It's very upsetting because everyone other then him have been great but really disappointed by the communication and support at the end of my tenancy go elsewhere if you can

LANDLORDS AND TENANTS BEWARE. They treat tenants terribly but most importantly are NOT good property managers. They do not carry out end of tenancy cleaning/repairs (which you assume are done for the amount they are paid) and just hope new tenants won't notice. If the new tenant does notice you are both drawn in to battle with them as to who pays for what when these guys should have been, and have been employed to be, sorting to begin with. The property I was involved with also had a bailiff threatening to knock the doors down for a tenant that had left years ago - no help and can only imagine who'd have footed the bill for new doors. I've been a tenant and a landlord for years, I wouldn't go near this bunch ever gain. Also - staff at DIRECTOR level are incapable of handling GDPR issues. You can try complaining but they don't understand their own complaints process (and hope you'll just get tired of trying)

You better be quick to reply. Otherwise they will pass you over in an instant.... So myself and my partner found the perfect property advertised via Jordan Fishwick Chorlton After trying to contact the main LET agent on multiple occasions a few weeks ago and getting only voicemail. We eventually had to go through the sales phone line. And got a place to see the property. We saw the property with no problem. But the agent at the door assured us it was not a first come first serve situation. And that the landlord would decide via a resume system. Which was perfectly fine. Today. My partner got an email stating that we had got the property. This was at 11:14 AM, My partner was in a business meeting. Within that time the letting agent had called her twice over the 25 minutes she was in said meeting. And obviously my partner couldn't answer. Once the meeting was done she sent a reply back at 11:41. This was only 25 minutes from the email saying we got the property. My partner then proceeded to ring not just the letting agents number. But the office number at Chorlton to no avail up until 11:55. At 11:55 my partner sent another email. Stating she was free for the rest of the day and can be contacted. She continued to try and ring the letting agent. At 12:46 she received another email from the letting agent. Stated that due to the delay we had lost the property to another tenant. So due to the letting agent. Not responding to the Emails. And not responding to her phone. And no one picking up in the office. We had lost out on the property we both really wanted, I will also say that i was also available to be contacted throughout the day. And Jordan fishwick had me in their system and knew i was applying along side my partner. And then failed to contact myself via phone or email. When it was more than possible to do so. We get that there's competition for these properties. But giving people less than 30 minutes to respond then not answering emails or phone calls once we had time to do so is unprofessional. We was also not informed that if we didn't reply straight away. The property would be given to another potential tenant. But after trying to contact the company multiple times to confirm we both feel its very unprofessional as a company, to not have an open line especially when it comes to a property they are willing to give away in less than 30 minutes of contacting you without any warning

Was contacted via email & voicemail with an offer for a rental property we had applied for, only to have the offer rescinded almost immediately because I was in work & missed the call. I responded to the email offer just 25 minutes after receiving it, only to get a brief response advising that they had already given it to another tenant & it had been accepted. There was absolutely no curtesy of giving us a chance to call back, there was absolutely no attempt made to contact my partner who was also jointly applying with me. I know that the rental market is competitive, but imagine punishing potential tenants for having a job! I have never been treated with such contempt and disrespect by a business.

This Estate Agent (Chorlton branch) allows gazumping after an offer has been accepted and buyer has agreed to proceed. They say they would allow this up to Exchange day! They do not give you the truth of the situation. I had to squeeze the information out of the sales director!! I would not trust this estate agent. Although gazumping is not illegal in the UK, it is completely unethical and professionally unacceptable!
