Get to know the agent that's dealing with your property first !

There are cheaper charging commission % agents,but chose JF cos of the well established name. Theo was pleasant and professional. The issue we had was during the last few weeks while he was on holiday and file passed to a colleague, he was very blunt and pushy with chasing our side constantly about progress updates from our solicitor which we found was stressful and sometimes annoying when there is only so much u can do to push 'solicitor ' to do the job quicker ! An understanding estate agent will understand, we the seller obviously are more keen to complete than anyone else involved ! Overall,they managed to sell my property and I guess that's what's matter most!

I recently sold my mums park home with Jordan Fishwick Wilmslow. It wasn't the easiest property to sell because of the lack of outdoor space but with the help of Richard, Lara, Ollie, and Theo we got there. I was given helpful advice at every stage and the team kept me regularly updated. The process was made that bit harder by the fact I live miles away. The team took charge of all the viewings and always called with the viewers feedback. When some unforseen repairs were required Richard was very helpful taking photos etc and I was able to organise a repair company without the need to be at the property. They are a helpful, friendly and professional team.

Theo was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. From the very beginning he was professional, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping everything run smoothly. What really stood out was how much he went the extra mile, whether it was keeping us updated, answering questions quickly, or making sure every detail was handled properly. Buying/selling a property can be stressful, but Theo made the experience so much easier with his positive attitude and clear communication. He was always willing to help, nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and you could tell he genuinely cared about getting the best outcome for us. Beware of underhanded practice

We have used JF twice to find a new tenant for our flat. This process worked out fine however they have now started to use a new lengthy electronic contract involving a third party and within this they mention the services they can provide re home letting service. All sounds great. However be warned this is just a process designed to be ambiguous and provide them another income stream at the expense of unsuspecting clients. Our experience relates to energy providers.In the new contract its states they can share your details with potential energy providers seems harmless enough. Then once the contract is signed they send you and email about home letting services they can provide, however this is the trick, you have to read this email and opt out otherwise you give them licence to fleece you. In our case we found out our energy provider had been changed between new tenant's. I spent hours on the phone with my old energy provider to try and find out what was happening and to block this change, eventually filling in an erroneous change process which takes 20 days to implement.The new provider in the end basically blocked this. I then got in touch with the new provider who eventually after several calls informed me my energy supply had been switched by Jordan Fishwick. So my energy supply was changed without my knowledge and new suppliers tariff was 6% higher. So Jordan Fishwick used this process to gain a payment from the new energy supplier and increase the cost of my energy supply without ever informing me.

We appointed Jordan Fishwick to sell our rental property in Wilmslow in a slow market. Ollie was very proactive and kept us informed with feedback from all viewings, and we eventually accepted an offer. What should have been a straightforward chain free process unfortunately dragged on but was managed professionally and sensitively by Richard Peck, especially when nerves on both sides got a bit frayed. Communication was faultless with calls returned and e-mails responded to.

The staff are friendly and take an interest in each property that they are selling or renting on your behalf. Knowledge is key in this line of work and each member of staff will do their very best to answer each question there and then. Good team work.

Our experience of selling a property in Wilmslow with Jordan Fishwick has been exceptional. We initially invited nine estate agents to attend the property to provide an opinion on valuation and present their approach to selling our apartment. Six responded and made appointments at which detailed discussions took place. All were asked to then provide a written proposal together with contractual terms & conditions. Three of the estate agents stood out with respect to their knowledge, approach and communication skills among which was Jordan Fishwick and Richard Peck the Sales Manager of the Wilmslow office. We shortlisted the two estate agents who had properly prepared in advance of the appointment, demonstrated the best knowledge of the local market and most impressed us with their insight, communication skills and integrity. Ultimately we selected Jordan Fishwick because the contact terms & conditions offered were clear, simple and fair to both client and estate agent (presented in normal size text on less than one A4 page). By contrast, the contract proposed by other contender was many pages of small print and significantly unbalanced in favour of the agent! No time was wasted by Jordan Fishwick who photographed the property and prepared a sales brochure for approval within days. A two stage strategy was initiated, initially "off-market" to existing Jordan Fishwick prospective buyers and then on-line and in store. A number of viewings were quickly arranged and took place. Within two weeks of signing the contract, Jordan Fishwick had identified a buyer who wished to proceed with purchasing our apartment subject to selling his own property. And, less than two weeks later a formal offer and Memorandum of Sale was agreed. At this point the hard work of progressing the sale through to completion began. The journey to completing the sale took a further four and a half months as a consequence of delays introduced by our buyer’s solicitor, plus a chain which involved a further property. During this period there was a continued strong focus by Richard and Theo​​​​ Orr, the Senior Sales Negotiator working on the sale, who kept on top of progressing the sale and keeping us fully informed and aware. In summary, I have no hesitation in recommending Jordan Fishwick to any prospective seller. They understood the market, optimised the sales price, were professional, effective and above all honest, helpful and personable throughout the entire process . . . and charged a transparent and realistic commission.

64 five stars and 32 one stars says a lot. Stay far away from this archaic arrogant and nonchalant estate agent. My experience with them and many others apparently was exceptionally terrible. This is the first estate agent I have ever used that has kept a deposit of mine upon rental application based on a theory of theirs that not all information was provided correctly AND my guarantor on well over 90k a year was not adequate. Still in proceedings with this sham show of an estate agent… next steps…. Ombudsman then court. There is something very fishy about Jordan fishwick. They put making small monetary wins over their customers. Point blank go elsewhere.

False advise and promote bidding wars

Very disappointing experience. We felt we were given misleading advice and encouraged into a bidding war for the property. When we challenged the way competing bids were being solicited, we were then told the property was ours. Weeks later, and only shortly before our existing tenancy was due to end, they pulled out of the agreement, leaving us in an extremely difficult position.
