Get to know the agent that's dealing with your property first !

There are cheaper charging commission % agents,but chose JF cos of the well established name. Theo was pleasant and professional. The issue we had was during the last few weeks while he was on holiday and file passed to a colleague, he was very blunt and pushy with chasing our side constantly about progress updates from our solicitor which we found was stressful and sometimes annoying when there is only so much u can do to push 'solicitor ' to do the job quicker ! An understanding estate agent will understand, we the seller obviously are more keen to complete than anyone else involved ! Overall,they managed to sell my property and I guess that's what's matter most!

Beware of underhanded practice

We have used JF twice to find a new tenant for our flat. This process worked out fine however they have now started to use a new lengthy electronic contract involving a third party and within this they mention the services they can provide re home letting service. All sounds great. However be warned this is just a process designed to be ambiguous and provide them another income stream at the expense of unsuspecting clients. Our experience relates to energy providers.In the new contract its states they can share your details with potential energy providers seems harmless enough. Then once the contract is signed they send you and email about home letting services they can provide, however this is the trick, you have to read this email and opt out otherwise you give them licence to fleece you. In our case we found out our energy provider had been changed between new tenant's. I spent hours on the phone with my old energy provider to try and find out what was happening and to block this change, eventually filling in an erroneous change process which takes 20 days to implement.The new provider in the end basically blocked this. I then got in touch with the new provider who eventually after several calls informed me my energy supply had been switched by Jordan Fishwick. So my energy supply was changed without my knowledge and new suppliers tariff was 6% higher. So Jordan Fishwick used this process to gain a payment from the new energy supplier and increase the cost of my energy supply without ever informing me.

64 five stars and 32 one stars says a lot. Stay far away from this archaic arrogant and nonchalant estate agent. My experience with them and many others apparently was exceptionally terrible. This is the first estate agent I have ever used that has kept a deposit of mine upon rental application based on a theory of theirs that not all information was provided correctly AND my guarantor on well over 90k a year was not adequate. Still in proceedings with this sham show of an estate agent… next steps…. Ombudsman then court. There is something very fishy about Jordan fishwick. They put making small monetary wins over their customers. Point blank go elsewhere.

False advise and promote bidding wars

Very disappointing experience. We felt we were given misleading advice and encouraged into a bidding war for the property. When we challenged the way competing bids were being solicited, we were then told the property was ours. Weeks later, and only shortly before our existing tenancy was due to end, they pulled out of the agreement, leaving us in an extremely difficult position.

I was moved in quickly during the Christmas period by Jack and I was assigned Joely Brooks as my agent. From start to finish Joely was always quick to reply and helpful. My flat was maintained and checked by quality contractors throughout my tenancy and they worked around my work schedule. This is my review about the agency. My daughter was buying a house in 12 Dryhurst lane in Disley with her husband. She was almost sold the house that have more than 7000 pounds in damage without any negotiation from the Seller in order for the house to be fixed. When Seller agreed to fix it she tried to influence the roofer to change the wordings of the house problems and the quote after which she had to be stopped.The house have leaks on every wall in the attic which is semi converted so they need to present it in a real light, including the neibourhood chimney that will need to be repointed and that wall would need to be fixed as well, since unfortunatly it will be leaking forever until somebody fix it. I never sow that anybody in UK actually fixed their chimney since it's leaking to somebody's else wall but I did see a lifelong arguments with a neigbour becouse of it. After paying for Solicitor,surveyor and all the specisalist which is around 2500 pounds becouse the Seller kept denying that house had leaks she daughter was offered was 1000 pounds down in price which basically wouldn't even cover for the paint after the house is fixed, she didn't even get I'm sorry for the lies,money and the time she waisted. I'm only putting on the prices since the Rightmove still don't present the property in real light even after it was requested by the previous buyers so there is a reasonable doubt they will just repaint a property and try to missell it to some other first time buyer. This house have a damp on every wall in living room with 22% of it, bathroom needs to be fixed and attick have leaks on every wall which is active at this moment so it destroyed the attic walls with the mould and damp. The house is in disrepair however it is being sold as perfectly meintaned property without even a sentance that it need a renovation or any photo showing the leak on the Rightmove. This is not any data breach, this is legal right of a parent to leave a deatailed review of what is happening in the Agency and spend all off her money trying to help the doughter pay for all the specialist and solicitors bills without any help from the Seller cuz they tried to sell her the property under influence by repainting the actual state. Not even mentioning there was an e-mail sent to her that house never had any damp on it and they knew at that time about the damp and the leaks all I can say the entire experience is shocking some Sellers and the agencies are pushing just to sell the property even if it is illegal.
