GoogleThankyou again to John Shepherd for letting a property for me. All of the team I have dealt with, have been extremely communicative and supportive both to myself and the ingoing tenants. Ailish and Rickie in the 1' instance in letting the property so quickly and efficiently and Jonathan on his detailed inventory. Thanks to Carly too for her ongoing support as the portfolio manager. GoogleVery unprofessional treatment of prospective tenants. I have arranged a viewing early this week and have been told that the earliest possible date is on the Monday next week due to the current tenant being absent. Then saw the same property being already let agreed three days later the same week, even before the supposed earliest date for viewings. I asked the agent and was told that the existing tenant has arranged her friend to take the property and they got the flat instead. Clearly this agency applies differential treatment, there are applicants more privileged than others and seemingly don’t have to follow the procedure outlined for all other candidates. I also wasn’t informed of this by the agency.

GoogleWe have recently relocated from South Africa to Birmingham. In trying to secure a rental, I had called many agents and Smart Homes-John Shepherd Lettings was an agency that stood out from the rest. Hannah was extremely welcoming and friendly and she was most helpful in arranging viewings. Alan was also very professional and very helpful. I would highly recommend John Shepherd Agency. They aided us in adjusting in a big new city and for this wonderful treatment, we are grateful.

GoogleWere pleasant until actually getting the property. Some of the staff push for you to give them a review before you even get the keys. Also please be aware that they will try to withhold your deposit so make sure to take videos/pictures in order to keep your full deposit.

Told them how keen we was on a property, completed an application and was waiting for references to be completed, we chased them for an update to be told that the property has been let to someone else after telling us it was still available and completing a long application. Very disappointing terrible communication
