GoogleWhile letting the property, John Shepherd were decent agents, with things fixed quickly. The problems start when you leave and they try and charge you from your deposit for nothing more than simple painting/cleaning. All the justification you get is "it's outside fair wear and tear", without ever receiving clarity on what that means. I urge John Shepherd, and all letting agents as a matter of fact, to put tenants first. Provide clarity on what's considered fair, challenge landlords who benefit most from renting to foot the bill for minor damages and make it all make sense.

GoogleFabulous service from Olga at John Shepherd. She helped us find my disabled mum a new house to move into and was amazingly helpful. She even came out to the car park to us in the rain to go through some paperwork as my mum couldn't make it in the office. Nothing was too much hassle and every query was answered quickly and efficiently. Would very much recommend John Shepherd to anyone and if you want someone who goes the extra mile in lettings, make sure you ask for Olga.

GoogleCurrently renting and it has been a nightmare. I’ve asked to make a formal complaint / speak to a manager 5 or 6 times and they refuse to reply. Unfortunately, will have to get a solicitor involved
