I have had a very positive experience selling my house. Hythe and Waterside Estate Agency were very pleasant and professional throughout. Darren and Angela were brilliant and supported me through the sale at all times. I would highly recommend them without hesitation. Thank you.

We had a number of problems with the managed service. Communication was poor and we often felt we had to continually chase to get information on works. Despite saying on the website that they negotiate on your behalf to get work done we were told they do not usually provide quotes for the work and we had to continually push for this. They only have one person managing the properties so if this person is away then nothing happens. We had damage to our property which despite knowing they asked if we were happy to release the deposit. Council were not informed of change of tenant, despite saying they were. So many issues which caused a huge amount of stress trying to sort out. We have used numerous letting services previously but this was the worst service experience. Absolutely would not recommend and we won’t use them again.

We had a problem that would have easily been resolved but took a few days and we ended up communicating directly with landlady and trades. In future would not go via them as agents.

Thank you for your review Colette, we appreciate your feedback, your rating is unfortunate, as we always strive to give the best service, which you can see from our reviews. However in this case, as you are aware, it was a quick boiler repair, however we were let down by the first gas engineer who cancelled, we then immediately called the second engineer who was delayed in calling as he was very busy with jobs at that very moment. This is not our usual service and we can assure that it was an absolute one off. Under the circumstances it would be appreciated if you could consider revising your star rating as you will have realised now that the situation that occurred was out of our hands. Thank you

I used this company for both the selling of my own property and negotiating the buying of my new property. The whole process throughout was done in a friendly happy and efficient way. Darren with his photography does a great job and is involved throughout. He is backed up but the other members of his team and Angela does a great job keeping us informed as to what is happening and if the need arises giving solicitors a gentle reminder. A first class service from start to finish and I have no hesitation in recommending them.
