GoogleDo not rent from these people. They are no better than cowboys and are not going to help you or resolve issues quickly if you have a bad landlord at least from my own experience. Ultimately they do NOT care and we were left in a property without proper water for 6+ months and expected to pay full rent. They'll also send over dodgy trades people who will try and make off with your tools.
My wife and I had a hideous 11-month experience with Horton & Garton and the unscrupulous landlord they represented just under two years ago. That even resulted in John Horton coming over and promising to rectify the issue but nothing was resolved and he stopped taking my calls. Dealt with all levels of management including both Ashley's and I even got the local council involved as the situation got that bad. Would never do business with Horton & Garton again.
I know these messages are read by John himself and I'd suggest John you spend more time looking after tenants that caring about Google reviews. You should hang your head in shame as you know you wronged us and failed in your duty of care. This has been a long time coming but people need to know and if you dare try and deny it I've got the records still to prove you wrong.

GoogleThis team are amazing! I was looking for a place for myself and 2 friends and Tom guided us through from beginning to end. Whenever there seemed to be a problem/difficulty from our end Tom did everything he could to find a way around it and get us to the next step. Tom helped us even while working from home and made sure his colleagues contacted me if he was unable to do so.
I never usually write reviews but Tom was seriously amazing. This is the team to go to! They get to know you and what you are looking for, ensure all your needs are met/find alternatives, and see you through to the end. Whether you finalise everything or not they still care.
In stressful times, Tom and the team really did bring a sense of comfort and normality to us :)
