GoogleI can say from first instructing Holden Copley to actually selling my house the team at Arnold and Hucknall have been amazing. In particular, Lydia, Sadie and Helen at the Hucknall branch have been extremely helpful and very knowledgeable when needing advise. I would recommend Holden Copley to any of my friends or family. GoogleJust about to complete on my house sale with holden Copley. They've been brilliant from the start. Always so quick to respond to emails and calls, no chasing people like with other agents. All staff have been friendly and helpful, from valuation with matt, photos with Lauren and then Sadie on sales and Emma on progressions. Was so impressed with the marketing and interest generated in my house. The agents also carried out the viewings and sale was agreed within a week of being on the market. Couldn't ask for more and would highly recommend. Big thanks to all the team!

GoogleHolden Copley are, without doubt, the best estate agent I have dealt with. The initial meeting was conducted by Matt Copley, so I had already met the big boss and he gave me his email address should I need it, which I didn’t. They produce great marketing information for your house by using professional photographers, asking YOU what the selling points of your property are, and seeking your approval of the information before going live. If you look on Rightmove, Holden Copley’s house pictures always stand out from the crowd. The staff in the office are always very friendly, polite, and communicate frequently via phone & email to always keep you informed about viewings and other developments. I would certainly use them in the future! There may be cheaper estate agents around, but is cheapest always best when it comes to selling your house?…

GoogleHolden Copley have been excellent from start to finish. Matt Copley came initially to do the valuation, he was professional and well prepared. He showed us everything that they offer and they delivered on every aspect. Every member of the team have been fantastic. We spoke to 3/4 different staff and each one knew what stage we were at and were very supportive. The photos were great and really stand out from other agents and the photgrapher took extra photos that i asked to be shown. Communication was great, via email and phone but at the right time. They contacted me when they needed to but not too much that it became disruptive. Matt openly said that they weren't the cheapest but they were by far the best. We sold our house in less than a week! I would highly recommend.

GoogleWe had a very good experience of selling our house with Holden Copley. The photos and 3D virtual tour were really excellent. We had a massive number of viewings and accepted an offer over the asking price within 2 weeks. The team were very good throughout and always responded promptly to every email and phone call. Our sales progressor was also excellent, offering support and advice whenever we needed it and keeping everything on track. We would definitely recommend HC to anyone looking for an estate agent in the Nottingham area.

GoogleHolden Copley have been great from start to finish! They were quick and efficient, and came at a time that suited us to get our property onto the market. The pictures were brilliant, and I can always tell straight away from looking at Rightmive etc which are on with Holden Copley because the pictures are just a lot better! They were very helpful with viewings of the property and did the viewings when we couldn't. And when we had offers etc had our best interests at heart and were able to get us the best price. We were sold within 3.5 weeks of the property first going onto the market! Also the property we have brought was also with Holden Copley and they were so helpful when it came to bidding etc. And managed to help us get our dream home! Thanks to Sarah, Sadie, Lydia and the rest of the team you were great and thanks again for helping us through this stressful process. Would highly recommend!

FacebookHoldenCopley are the letting agent for a flat I moved into recently. The flat has huge issues, and was described by the property manager as "a problem flat" when he came to inspect the many issues I reported. The walls are damp and mouldy in 3 rooms, they windows are old wooden windows that won't close and are full of holes and letting in torrents of air. Due to it being a tall, old Victorian house that's been converted into a flat, it would be tricky to heat anyway because of the tall ceilings, without windows that don't close. After 5 straight hours of heating, I am not able to heat the property past 16.5 degrees. It has made me ill living there; I have had a cold I cannot shift since moving in, and get headaches in the property. The bathroom is falling apart, and the landlords recently said they would not replace the bath tub, but rather just do some re-grouting and install an extractor fan. The 2 H&C agents who came to see the property both agreed that the bathroom needs replacing, but the landlords are saying no, and that seems to be that.The windows need replacing, as was stated by the H&C contractor, but I received an email saying that the works cannot be carried out while people are living there. I asked to end my contract so I can move somewhere healthy, and was told the landlord agreed to this because of the negative health affects its having on me. Once I then found somewhere to move to and said let's move forward with me ending the contract, I was told that actually no they are not OK to do that and I will have to live there for the full 6 months. This will be during the winter in the freezing cold, mould and damp, while they take rent from me and do not do the work that desperately needs doing to the flat. The back and forth in responses, changing of mind and inability to do what really needs doing to this flat in time to make it liveable during winter is incredibly distressing, and the stress of trying to get warm in the flat whilst constantly poorly from the flat is increasing and making me feel even worse. I enormously regret moving in, I desperately wish I had taken more time to look around the flat, but why H&C were OK letting this out when they knew what dire state it was in I just don't know. When one of the old tenants moved out, both should have been told to go so the much needed work could be carried out.I just want to leave the flat, and feel devastated I am being held there during the winter.
Due to how this flat is making me ill to live in, unfortunately I feel like it is important for people looking to rent with H&C to know the situation. To reiterate, I was told I could be released from my contract, as the landlord said my health had to take priority. I then found a new place to live in, and when asked to proceed with being released, I was told actually no now the landlords are saying I must uphold the 6 months. The shock and upset from this was what caused me to write this initial review. As I said, I desperately wished I had looked around properly before committing to this place. If it was not following proper procedure, and H&C knew what a bad state the flat was in, it should not have been allowed to go ahead. Had H&C showed me the issues and said "this is why we can't proceed with this" I absolutely would have understood. I did not twist your arm or force you to take out a contract with me.I understand a new boiler was fitted, and I understand leaving the heating on all day will help. As I said before, financially I'm not in a position to leave the heating on all day, especially when within an hour of it going off the flat is back to freezing because of the state of the windows.If the landlords are saying the work that needs doing should be done when no one is living there, it only makes sense for there to be no one living there so it can be carried out.For now, I am living in masses of distress in a cold damp flat, knowing that if I was released as I was told I would be, I would be living in a much healthier situation currently.I am hugely disappointed more is not being done to release me from the contract, when we all know that not enough can be done to make this flat even close to comfortable when winter properly rolls in.I will also be responding to your last email, of course, once I have received the advice I am waiting for. I do not intend to only speak to you on public forums.
