GoogleDreaded trying to sell my dad`s house during this pandemic but this was made so much easier by choosing Holden Copley. Everything was taken care of from viewings to exchanging contracts. Big thank you to Melissa who kept things moving even when the legal sides were dragging their feet.

GoogleA challenging sale with the current market, 4 buyers pulled out through collapsing chains! got there in the end! Marketing is fantastic, photos, video tours and the package they promote. Also able to speak to the directors when i needed reassurance on my sale which was pleasing.

GoogleReally happy with the photography / particulars that went out. The absolute stand out was Sheryl, our sales progresser, who just made the whole process so much simpler and less stressful. Sheryl was so responsive and helpful and really acted as a great conduit between us, the conveyancers and purchasers.

Google100% recommendation from us. Professional service from start to finish. We moved from Arnold to Hucknall in Nov 2019 and used Holdens then. Unfortunately Hucknall didn’t work out so we are moving back to Arnold today. From start to finding, as ever, brilliant service- last time we sold house in just under 2 weeks. This time it took 2 days!!! Particulars, photos, 3D - all amazing. Would never use anyone else (especially after dealing with a not so great agent to buy our next house). Thanks Holdens and especially Cheryl for your calmness, professionalism and for keeping me sane!!! You’re the Best!!!

GoogleWe recently purchased a property through Holden Copley and have to say that they were good with comms. From the point of booking veiwings all the way to the completion, they kept us updated. All the staff members we have dealt with so far are very friendly and helpful, and I'd like to give a special mention to Melissa Denton. GoogleOur experience of moving house has, for many reasons (mainly out of HC's control) been long and stressful, fortunately ending recently with us finally moving into our new home. The team at Holden Copley excel in the areas of advertising and marketing and are friendly. The employees who worked directly on our move worked hard to make sure everything turned out well, particularly nearer the end. However, I also personally found myself having to give up a lot of my time and become more heavily involved than I imagined, in order to reach a successful conclusion. I thank the team for their efforts and wish them well in the future.

GoogleHolden Copley recently let a house for me. The standard of service is simply amazing, from the pro marketing to the communication and feedback. The property went on the market and had 15 people lined up to view the same day. The property was let immediately. If you need a letting agent, these are the guys to use.

GoogleVery glad to have Abigail and Melissa at Arnold branch helping me with the property purchase. They are very responsive and prompt to action. I never had to chase (in fact I have been chased a few times which is good!). The conveyancing process went faster than expected and Melissa continued her support post completion. GoogleHave been trying to purchase a house for a while. Have made multiple offers on houses and told it was the highest offer, yet they have continually dragged out responses and effectively left me waiting for multiple weeks at a time for an answer on whether the offer is accepted or not. Excuses have been that the vendors want to give 'everyone' a chance but that seems to be something to do with greed rather than that. If I am offering the full price on something, why is it then going to final offers? There has been consistent excuses and more consideration for the vendors than me as a buyer, leaving me in the lurch and causing much stress. Conversely, made an offer on a property with a different estate agents yesterday and it was accepted within 1 hour and the process has already begun. It seems that Holden Copley is just encouraging vendors to seek more than asking price, presumably for their own benefit. I will say they are good at getting back to you when you contact them. However I have been waiting for feedback on a property for a week and have yet to hear anything.
Hi Bex, thank you for your response and we are sorry that you feel that you have had a bad experience with HoldenCopley. Sometimes properties achieve there asking price, sometimes under and on other occasions and especially at the moment they can achieve above the asking price. I appreciate offering the marketing price would suggest this should be agreed but the owner of the property makes this decision depending on the market demand. You make an assumption about us encouraging owners to seek more than the asking price for our own gain however I can assure you that this is not the case and I’m more than happy to explain this further to you if you wish. The property market has a high demand at the moment and this can lead to frustration which I completely understand. I’m sorry you are not successfully buying a property with my company and I wish you all the best with your purchase and new home. GoogleGreat communication and really helpful to begin with, great service and speedy. However could have definitely been more helpful when it came to our landlord deciding to remarket. They knew at this point that we have served notice on our current place, with only a week to go, we were left in a position that could have ended us homeless. Thankfully leaders supported us in finding a new house to rent.

I appreciate it was frustrating that the landlord wanted to cancel the application once information was disclosed by you that was omitted at the start.
