Hawes & Co acted as the agent between us and the seller of the flat we bought. I mainly dealt with Sarah and she was always responsive and professional, pushing anything she could along for us. When we got closer to completion, one of the Hawes & Co agents very kindly went and turmed the fridge/freezer on for us a couple of days before which really helped us out as we weren't very local. Thank you for all of your help, we got there in the end!

I would strongly advise against Hawes & Co. They lured us to instruct them by overvaluing our flat. They then failed to produce a single viewing in the space of four months, even after lowering the price. We instructed another agent and had a vewing within a week. Then more and more viewings poured in, offers soon after, and we now have a buyer.In the mean time, the agent at Hawes & Co left and we were not even informed: nobody was looking after us for god knows how long. When we phoned in, all they cared about was to keep us on their book without doing any work to try and sell our flat. When I decided to give them notice, It took a week for me to speak on the phone to the branch manager, Sarah Walker, as clearly nobody cared. I later emailed her with a question, and to this day, over a month later, I still haven’t had a reply.In a nutshell, we wasted much time because of them, and their lack of courtesy really puts them to shame. There are many much better estate agents in Surbiton, so do avoid Hawes & Co.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with both the sales and lettings team , both have been outstanding with their customer service.Marcus and John in sales helped from beginning to end and kept us always in the loop without us having to chase them. They would come meet us at the property whenever needed and always liaised efficiently between myself and the seller . Miran and noor in lettings have been our main point of communication since and their service is absolutely outstanding. They went above and beyond to make sure our properties were rented out to the best suited tenants. Communication was impeccable throughout and we have built up a great report. We are in the renting business and we definitely will be giving more of our business to miran and noor. Would highly recommend!Most importantly they are easy to get hold of and approachable. No more taking messages and hoping someone gets back to you.. it’s lovely to have someone answer the phone and know who you are straight away :) Many thanks

We have used Hawes& Co, Wimbledon branch, to sell our flat and buy our onward property, and we couldn’t have picked a better agent. Paul Mannell, in particular, was impeccable; personable and friendly, honest, knowledgeable, diligent, highly responsive and helpful, a true professional. He provided seamless communication through the usual ups and downs of the house selling/buying journey, and was always on hand to offer calm, objective advice and give realistic solutions- even at times when things, as they sometimes do, got complicated and convoluted. He saw us through being in the middle of a tangled chain to successfully completing on our sale and purchase, and has been the voice of reason during a rather stressful process indeed. Can highly recommend Miran and Noor at Hawes & Co for those looking to rent. My wife and I had quite a complex situation and they were very helpful in terms of making everything happen. Miran in particular saved the day when I really thought all was lost. If you find yourself dealing with Miran then you can relax knowing you are in safe hands. He really went above and beyond. Definitely someone who cares about those he is dealing with. Bravo.
