GoogleLorraine worked for the seller the property I have just bought. Not only was she very diligent and helpful through negotiations, she was a God send throughout the full process! It wasn't the simplest of sales owing to some difficult management companies and solicitors involved with a lot of hoops to jump through - Lorraine went over and above and worked with myself and the seller to achieve the speediest sale we could.

GoogleSpeaking from a personal viewpoint, my wife and I were heartily impressed. From professionality within the office environment to attentive service when viewing. Nothing seemed too much trouble and we were treated with courtesy and respect by all staff. Would highly recommend them. Keep up the good work

GoogleI would like to thank the staff at Hair and Son for all their help and support as a landlord; but most of all a huge thank you to Rob Lintern for his patient and friendly approach. Rob made my life a lot easier and was always keen to help and go that extra mile. He has a wealth of knowledge and made very intelligent suggestions on issues. His professionalism made my life a lot easier!

FacebookThey don’t address issues raised on the property the handle letting for when the property has damp, bad heating and lack of hot water. Only interested in getting rent for their clients

Hi Alison, having spoken to our lettings department I understand they have tried to address your daughter's issues over the last few months, including trying to replace meters to improve the quality of the heating, site visits by our property managers, contractors and the landlord. Your daughter was made aware before she moved in of what needed to be done and was given the option of delaying moving in until after everything was in place, an option which she declined. She has now stated her desire to leave the property whilst still under contract, so we have therefore immediately begun remarketing and have received enquiries from interested applicants, however we have not been able to arrange a time that suits your daughter to carry out viewings which, as I'm sure you understand, are imperitive for us to be able to resolve the situation and allow your daughter to vacate as soon as possible. We will therefore continue to to attempt to get these viewings booked. We are also still in contact with the landlord to rectify these issues.

After over a year this matter should have been sorted. THIS COMPANY IS USELESS AND HAVE NO INTEREST IN RESOLVING PROBLEMS JUST MAKING MONEY

Could you possibly message us with your brother's name and a brief outline of the problem he has encountered so that I am able to ask the relevant head of department to make contact please?

GoogleJust rented a flat through Hair and son. Worked with Ben, great experience from start to finish, professional, friendly and all dealings were immediately dealt with, no waiting for a call for days etc.

FacebookTotally useless, do not instruct them to manage your property. They will ignore emails, not return phone calls and most of the staff are constantly off sick or on annual leave. Over a year I have been waiting for them to resolve an issue and they are now ignoring me so I now have to waste my time take legal action against them. Chris Coombes and staff are completely useless.

GoogleI just want to say a massive thank you to Jamie Lawrence from the Hair and Son, Southend for being so helpful and professional during my dealings with the Hair and Son. Jamie was very proactive and did his best to make our deal smooth and hassle free. Jamie your are a wonderful person with excellent communication skills and extremely helpful attitude. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or to sell their property.

GoogleI have been very pleased in my recent dealings with Olivia in the lettings department, she was quickly able to assess my requirements as a landlord and helped me find some lovely tenants that I hope to keep long term. Olivia has shown that she understands the local market and answered any questions or concerns with sensible, honest replies. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and her team to any new or experienced landlords.

GoogleHair and Son, London Road, Southend, have just sold my property and I am extremely glad that I chose them to do so. Carl and Shelley took the stress out of the whole process of selling a property, whilst not living in the area myself. Shelley has glided me through the whole process, patiently answering all my questions, and putting my mind at rest. GoogleClaire and the team at Rayleigh were amazing throughout the whole process. Being a first time buyer and not always entirely sure of my next step, Claire was able to guide and support me fully and really helped to take away some of the stress that comes with buying a house. Always happy to help even out of hours, I felt informed of all the arrangements all the way along. Would highly recommend, I found Hair & Son extremely professional and easy to work with!

GoogleMy experience buying my first home with Hair and Son was a positive experience. I viewed the flat I bought and Claire who showed me around was so helpful. I was given a plan of the flat and all the information I needed in regards to the costs, process or applying for a mortgage and help to buy. Claire was always very professional and helpful at all times, always getting back to me very promptly and answering my 100 questions I had. I was even able to go back to the property as many times as I needed and even after buying the property Claire arranged viewings for me to measure up. An outstanding services provided which made the whole process smooth and stress free. Thanks Claire I appreciate all your support through out.
