From start to finish, the service we received was outstanding. Tom’s professionalism and dedication were evident throughout the entire process. He kept us fully informed every step of the way, always communicating clearly and promptly, which made everything so much easier to understand. What could have been a stressful and overwhelming experience was instead handled smoothly and efficiently thanks to his expertise and calm, reassuring approach. At times, due to this, I forgot I was even selling a house! His support went above and beyond what we expected, no question was ever too small, and he was always available to provide guidance and reassurance whenever needed. I really appreciated how proactive he was in making sure things stayed on track, and how he managed to make what can often be a complicated process feel straightforward and stress-free. It has truly been a pleasure working with Tom. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome, and we feel very lucky to have had his help along the way. GoogleI would highly recommend Gregory Brown for your estate agent. Tom, Will, Frank and team were super efficient from start to finish. A good flow of potential buyers through the door and Frank was well versed with the pitch of the property. Plenty of advice through the process and aftercare.

GoogleExcellent from start to finish! Tom, Will, and their team were great. They made the major job of selling our house effortless. Including ‘poking’ the solicitors/conveyancers when needed to speed things up. Communication was great, and emails were answered rapidly. If moving back to the area I’d definitely use them again!

GoogleI’d caution anyone considering Gregory Brown / Octagon Lettings (same agency, different names). During the rental search, they operate under “Gregory brown" but once you're in, it becomes clear the service drops significantly. They’re very responsive before you take the property, but after that, it’s hard to get basic issues addressed. The worst part comes when you move out, unreasonable fees, last-minute charges, and poor communication. I’ve heard similar complaints from other tenants as well. Very disappointing experience overall. I wouldn’t recommend unless things improve significantly.

GoogleA close friend of mine and their family recently rented a property managed by this agency and had a really tough experience. They encountered frequent delays in communication and long wait times for basic maintenance issues. It seemed like tenant concerns were not prioritized, which caused a lot of frustration. Based on what they shared, including some examples of the communication they received, it didn’t reflect the level of professionalism you'd expect from a letting agency. I hope the agency takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their service.
