GoogleRented a flat through them and had a generally positive experience. Didn't try to gouge me for the deposit when I moved out. The staff were very helpful and always managed to get issues with the property resolved in a reasonable time.

GoogleGood professional service and achieved a rapid result. The only reason for 4 stars was that once an offer was received matters passed into the hands of someone who only worked 3 days a week. Also at this stage the buyer was under a misapprehension that was passed on to us rather than corrected. Once Emma was involved things were rapidly sorted out.

Google1. Viewing. Very professional. After the initial viewing, I was particularly impressed with the results obtained following questions, such as "Had the boiler been inspected" and the follow up from the survey. At no time was I left unescorted. 2. Follow up following my offer. To have a member of staff designated to look after my interest was really good. It turned out that completion could not have been achieved without her intervention. 3. General. My welcome in the office was excellent and "Do feel free to come in anytime" was genuine and I feel that without the help I got, I would not have been able to get my dream bungalow.

GoogleI recently purchased a property being marketed by Gowland White and found everyone I dealt with to be helpful, friendly and professional. My big shout out though goes to Barbara, who went above and beyond to ensure the sale went through as quickly and easily as possible. Literally nothing went to plan but Barabara took it all in her stride and dealt with any issues that arose and kept both parties informed along the way. Thanks to them all I now live in my forever home, but if you’re thinking of moving home I cannot recommend them enough!

GoogleVery good experience with the staff at Gowland White. Few problems at the beginning which had nothing to do with Gowland however they where always available to answer questions and queries and we found that Barbara was amazing to liase with, very polite and lovely to talk to. As for Carol Mitchell our mortgage advisor- fantastic and we wouldn't go with anyone else but her now. Absolutely fantastic lady who works ALL hours to ensure your looked after.

GoogleGowland White have been assisting me in purchasing a property that was for sale with themselves. Unfortunately we were in a chain and the sale fell through on 2 separate occasions, however thankfully the sale finally went through last week after around 8 months since having our offer accepted. It has been a frustrating time however the team at Gowland White, in particular Emma and Barbara have been fantastic in keeping me updated, keeping me sane, liaising with the sellers and when the time came, pushing through the sale as quickly as physically possible. They are just genuinely nice people who try to do their best to help people regardless whether you're the seller or buyer. I would highly recommend this team in Stockton for whatever your needs may be. Thanks again for all your help and support!

GoogleGreat service and support from the Gowland White team at Stockton. They were extremely helpful in guiding me through all aspects of the sale of my elderly mother's house. The sale itself was conducted in a quick, efficient manner and I was extremely pleased with the final outcome. I can highly recommend this estate agent and would not hesitate to use them again.

From Jackie tirelessly showing us around potential properties, Richard offering us knowledgeable advice about the potential of our property and Barbara seeing the process through to completion. All of the team were friendly, approachable and very professional throughout. Special thanks to Hannah and Emma for their help in booking appointments and answering our queries along the way. We would not hesitate to recommend Gowland White and would certainly use their services again in the future. First Class !!

Awful customer service.They did find a buyer for our property, but the process from arranging viewings & throughout the sale process was very poor.I made reasonable requests for information, which were flatly refused but then subsequently that same information was provided to me...merely because I persisted. To be obstinate and refuse in the first instance was simply unreasonable.If only they had provided what I asked for the first time, we perhaps would be at two stars or more...but their internal communication was terrible. Staff members were often left without basic information & at times I knew more than they did about viewings or the sale process. The Yarm branch manager wasn’t on top of the sale information & often provided conflicting and confusing information; this adds further to the poor review.It felt as though everything had to go through one person, the manager, before it could be communicated to us.As a result, it was a genuine shambles throughout.
