GoogleI’d definitely give them zero stars if it was an option. Our property manager never once referred to us by our names- a basic courtesy she lacked. After a year of shoddy, unreliable service in a damp home, they tried to snatch over 80% of our deposit for things like replacing a hob in perfect working condition and cleaning. They didn’t even return the undisputed part of our deposit- the Tenancy Deposit Scheme had to do that for us and saw that much of Gordon & Co’s claims were unfounded so we got most of our deposit back. Would strongly recommend that renters avoid these ruthless sharks unless you want to be subjected to unnecessary stress and have your hard-earned money put at risk. After renting several properties over the last decade I can honestly say this lot are the worst I’ve ever had to deal with.

GoogleI contacted Gordon & co about 2 different properties and it took over a week for them to get back to me. Upon hearing back I was told that because I was new to the UK (moved from the US) that my salary would not count toward rent and that my husband’s salary would need to cover the entire rent. I have never left a google review before but this warranted one. I was asked if I could provide additional rent up front to cover the cost. I am here on a valid visa, working for a top London employer and this company has the audacity to say that my salary doesn’t count? Don’t rent from this company. EVER.

Having reviewed our internal protocol when registering applicants from overseas, there isn’t any evidence on our system to suggest that rent in advance would have been requested based on the information provided. GoogleSold a property in Stockwell (Grant House) via Gordon & Co Battersea. I've known Kevin Sowah for a few years. His patience and knowledge of the market and sale process were very impressive. Upon noting what my requirements were, he set about doing his stuff, checking in periodically and came back with a deal. Kevin met the issues encountered on the sale (mortgage, missing certificates amongst other things) with calm and professionalism. I highly recommend Gordon & Co and Kevin.

GoogleKevin Sowah from Gordon & Co helped me sell my flat in Norwood House. It's been an extremely long and complicated process due to many factors but Kevin has been excellent throughout. Kevin is a breath of fresh air with his approach, he is down to earth, honest, extremely knowledgeable, and has communicated exceptionally throughout. Whenever I've needed, he has made time for me, and it's made a very difficult process that little bit easier.

GoogleI had an incredible experience with Gordon & Co. when house hunting and Becky Scrivener, a Lettings Negotiator made all the difference. She was always responsive, sometimes even outside working hours and was very patient when answering my (numerous and arduous!) questions. The circumstances in which I was looking to rent were quite peculiar, which made it all the more stressful at the onset. However, Becky understood the nature of my situation and went above and beyond to provide creative solutions which she skilfully negotiated with the landlord to ensure that both parties could reach an agreement. I am incredibly grateful for her support during what could have otherwise been a painful process. I would highly recommend Gordon & Co. to both prospective landlords and tenants.

GoogleWe recently managed to secure our new home with Becky Scrivener and she was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. It took us around 3 weeks to fully secure the flat after our offer originally not being accepted, but Becky fought so hard every day and chased people relentlessly to ensure we ended up being the tenants for the flat. She went above and beyond for us and we attribute being in our beautiful new home to her! 10/10 service and I was amazed to hear she only recently passed her training period as she was just incredible!
