GoogleSo un helpful no contact had to chase everything up and would not let me secure my letting without a viewing and by the time I could veiw the property it had gone. Thank god Ellison’s came up trumps took a reservation over the phone and now I am moving in to my dream home would not recommend these guys ever.

Goodfellows have been expertly managing my property for over 20 years and cannot find fault with them. I recently had the whole house refurbished and the whole team were fantastic. They were so efficient that I didn’t really have to do anything but choose the colours. They found a good tenant quickly and I do not hesitate to recommend them.

GoogleWe've had some unfortunate experiences before, but the whole experience with Goodfellows from the initial visit to the completion has been outstanding. The whole team has been brilliant, but I have to name Rosie Bolt as in addition to limitless patience she has been very proactive and helpful. I would wholeheartedly recommend Goodfellows!

GoogleWhen we decided to sell our property, we had three different estate agents over to value the house. From all three estate agents we were met with salesmen who were more interested in demonstrating why statistically their company was the best, over how we can have a stress-free sale and obtain a price we would be happy with. We thought this was standard so was about to settle with one of these companies. When I began to look for a property to buy, I spoke with Stephen Offield from Goodfellows who was the most honest and helpful individuals in the estate agent world I had spoken to. He did not try to sell Goodfellows onto us, but rather suggested I speak to Lee Hunt to help with the sale. After Lee attended the property to complete an evaluation, we were given a very helpful information, an ambitious house sale price and competitive estate agent fees. As we were treated like humans instead of a sales target, and felt comfortable with Lee and knew we could trust his experience; we decided to use Goodfellows. As an individual who gets anxious easily, and selling a property can be stressful, Lee knew when to accommodate our needs and when to use his experience to do what was best for the sale. After Lee achieved an offer that we were happy with, our case was assigned to Joel. However, Lee went above and beyond, playing a vital role and putting in a lot of work to get us to exchange / completion. I would also recommend Joel for his professionalism and quick responses to any issues that arose. When we were viewing properties to buy (which were being sold by other estate agents), the external companies already knew we were in a good position, thanks to word of mouth and how highly Lee is regarded in the field. This made us feel more comfortable viewing properties and put us is good position to have an offer accepted / considered. Unfortunately, we ended up using a very poor conveyancing firm who failed to complete simple tasks on time and a lack of communication, but due to the extra effort from the team at Goodfellows, we feel our sale went very smoothly. I don't plan to use Goodfellows again as we are hopefully moving into our forever home. But I would not hesitate to recommend Lee, Joel and the team at Goodfellows to anyone in the future.

GoogleBought a home through Goodfellows just before the end of the stamp duty holiday, we managed to completed our sell in 10weeks and that was largely due to Ellie Darby constantly chasing everyone and keeping things moving. Thanks again Ellie for your help!

GoogleThis company has been taking me for a ride for a few weeks now. Every time I make an offer somehow every time someone else beats me to it. The staff are not professional over the phone and many times I have called in, they answered and immediately hung up, not sure what the point of that may be. Quite frankly when they say they’ll call you back, just means they’re giving you the bird.

GoogleSam at Goodfellows at Stonecot Hill was our primary liason for the sale of our house. She advised us on the first meeting of things we needed to do to ensure we sold our house quickly. Our house was sold within a week and and the help and constant updates from Sam made the whole process as stress free as it could be. We will need assistance in the near future to sell another property and it will be Sam that I will be returning to for the professional assistance she provides. Can't thank you enough Sam.

GoogleLouise was excellent at every stage of letting my house out, as was Mandy with the initial meeting, explaining how everything worked, possible rent and flexibility with managing the property. I find the whole Fine & country/Goodfellows crossover confusing..you seem to do everything on one letterhead and pay their prices but deal with and review the other!? That said it does not take away from the professionalism and friendliness from these two ladies.

GoogleSuperb service from the onset. Caring, friendly, professional and helpful staff who go above and beyond. Tony (who carried out the valuation) was polite, professional and clearly very knowledgeable, noticing and recognising the particular little details about our house that made it so special to us. We spoke at length about what we wanted to achieve and the best path to do so. Darryl, the photographer did a stunning job of presenting our property, capturing light, colour and angles in a way that reflected our care in furnishing and lighting the space. Jack was masterful in marketing and carrying out the viewings. He was instrumental not only in getting the offers in but also went above and beyond, by helping us word our onward purchase offer as well as negotiating and planning strategically. We had 11 viewings scheduled only a day after our house went on the market (this was on a Saturday) and, by the Monday, we had three offers, all above our asking price! We completed in 4 months, just in time for the SDLT holiday and couldn't be happier with our new home. Highly recommended!
