We recently sold our house in CR4 with Goodfellows and had a great experience. The team worked really hard, getting loads of buyers through the door for us. It wasn't an easy market but they didn't give up. They also kept us updated all the time which was very helpful. They are a great bunch of property professionals, always polite and clearly have a strong work ethic. Their fee was competitive with other agents in the area. We also instructed two other estate agents (Oaks and Andrews), but Goodfellows wiped the floor with them both. I'd have no hesitation in recommending them! We had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish with Goodfellows, and that is entirely thanks to Topaz. From the very first viewing, she was incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping us. She answered all of our questions thoroughly, and anything she wasn't immediately sure about, she followed up on promptly afterwards-which really showed her dedication and attention to detail. She went out of her way to accommodate us, even managing to arrange a second viewing at very short notice. When the property ultimately wasn't the right fit for us, Topaz didn't stop there-she continued to support us by sending over a wide range of alternative properties, going truly above and beyond anything we expected. Although we didn't end up renting through Goodfellows in the end, the level of care, effort, and professionalism we received from Topaz was exceptional. She made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth, positive, and genuinely supported. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Goodfellows to anyone, purely because of the outstanding service we received from Topaz. She is an absolute credit to the team.

We recently viewed a property with Sarmilan on Park Avenue in Mitcham and proceeded to make an offer. Sarmilan confirmed in writing that our offer had been accepted, and we began preparing for the next steps based on his instructions. It is completely unacceptable that the very next day we discovered our offer had been used to provoke higher interest from previous viewers. Sarmilan failed to inform us that another offer was being put forward to the vendor the next morning, despite already confirming acceptance of ours. This is not only misleading but fundamentally dishonest. We were then told the vendor would consider both offers and that we would be updated. After more than a week of silence, we were forced to chase for an update ourselves, only to be told that another offer had been accepted. This conduct is absolutely unprofessional and demonstrates a serious lack of integrity, absence of transparency, the failure to communicate, and the deliberate misrepresentation of our offer which wasted our time and undermined our trust entirely. Based on this experience, we would strongly caution others against dealing with Sarmilan. UPDATE: 14.04.2026 Thank you for your response. We fully understand that you are required to present all offers to the vendor and that nothing is legally binding prior to exchange. However, that is not the issue we raised. Our concern is that our offer was explicitly confirmed to us in writing as accepted, and at no point were we informed that another offer was being introduced or considered immediately afterwards. We were therefore led to proceed under the assumption that the property was secured, which was clearly not the case. Furthermore, the lack of communication for over a week, during which time a competing offer was being considered and ultimately accepted, falls significantly below the level of transparency and professionalism expected. This is not about the vendor’s right to choose another offer, but about the way in which the process was handled and communicated to us. At a minimum, we should have been promptly informed and given a fair opportunity to respond. Your response focuses on what is legally permissible, but does not address the core issue of misleading communication and lack of transparency. Under The Property Ombudsman Code of Practice, agents are required to act with fairness, integrity, and to avoid misleading statements or omissions. Confirming that an offer has been accepted, without clearly communicating that the property remains open to other offers or that the situation has changed, falls short of these expectations. As a result, our trust in your service has been significantly undermined. We hope you take this feedback seriously and review your processes to ensure future buyers are treated with greater clarity, fairness, and professionalism.

I cannot put into words how grateful I am to the Goodfellows Mitcham team for their support and outstanding service when I sold my flat earlier this year (2022). I live in Australia and had been dealing remotely with another local agency who "managed" the rental of my flat for a decade. Around 3 years ago, I asked that other agency to sell it for me, and they were awful. I had 5 "aborted sales" which cost me a small fortune, and they couldn't have cared less. So this year, desperate to finally be rid of this property, I contacted Jamie Ford from Goodfellows in Mitcham on line. From the very first message he was helpful, professional, sympathetic and pro-active. What a difference! Jamie then put me in touch with his colleague, Jack O'Shea, and the very first offer they presented to me ended up being a completed sale just a few months later. They were a fantastic team who ensured the sale progressed efficiently and cost-effectively. They also put me in touch with their own conveyancer who handled everything for me online, so it was a breeze to exchange and settle from here in Australia. The relief I felt to finally sell this flat after so many years - and after so many costly "aborted sales" because of the incompetence of the other local agency - was indescribable. I cannot recommend Jamie, Jack and Goodfellows more highly to any prospective clients. I will be forever grateful to them for all their hard work, expertise, and outstanding service.

I can’t say enough nice things about Jack and Jamie at Goodfellows Mitcham and the amazing, hard work they put in to selling my property in the midst of a tumultuous housing market (thanks Putin/Truss!). This was definitely the most stressful and drawn out property transaction I’ve ever been involved in, but Jack and Jamie’s tenacity and perseverance in the face of many twists, turns and exasperating hold ups (plus me constantly on their backs wanting updates) was a sight to behold. They’re both super friendly, approachable, professional, and knowledgeable, and certainly went the extra mile to get this over the line- exactly what you want from an estate agent working on your behalf. Their commission isn’t the cheapest, but in this case I certainly got what I paid for- they were worth every penny. Cheers guys!

Was looking to sell my house in Mitcham. Had a choice of 3 estate agents. Had a chat with them all individually. Went into Goodfellows last, sat down, explained what we wanted to do, spoke to Omar. After chatting for 5 minutes it was quite clear that I had found the right estate agent. Omar was very knowledgeable, professional and very up front with all of my questions and was honest about the market at that time which gave me confidence in selling my property through them. We lost our first buyer and were then close to losing our purchase as we had no buyer. Omar and the team pulled another buyer out of the hat within days which was absolutely fantastic as we were thinking about taking our property off the market and staying put. Omar and Jonathan worked together at pace to get the sale through as quickly as possible so we didn’t lose our purchase property which was way down the line and very close to exchange. The two of them got it through and kept myself and the other estate agent we were purchasing through updated regularly with emails and phone calls. These 2 guys make up a fantastic team. From the outset I had a good vibe about Jamie. He communicates very well, he is approachable and in my opinion a very honest person and estate agent!! He knows the local market very well and from the beginning never put any pressure on, in fact he encouraged me to decline certain offers in the beginning feeling that something better would come along. Sadly the original valuation was not achieved (No fault of Jamie what’s so ever), and we both agreed that after a number of tries that a price reduction was what was needed due to the condition of the property which was being sold under probate. With his help we managed by to view and move into a property we liked that was even below our initial budget, all within a month. Gerald was very patient with us through this process.
