DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE AGENTS unless you want to keep having to play a chasing game. Me and my boyfriend enquired about a 1 bed house to rent in mitcham back in march, we viewed it and since then we have been going back and fourth about requesting for a second viewing (they havent gotten back to us about a second viewing). We’ve put an offer down and since then have been playing a chasing game, everytime we call about the property the agent we enquired (Shyvonne) with is always “never there”. They’ll then say that we will get a call back but we never do? It’s always us having to follow up with them about the property. It feels as if we’re “bothering” them at this point, when we shouldn’t have to feel like that right??. Today (29/4/2024) my boyfriend called to ask about whether they received our offer and an agent named james said that Shyvonne is still on the phone, so my boyfriend asked how long will the phone call take because he doesn't mind staying on hold, to which this man replied “how long is a piece of string”. Im sorry but if you are going to speak to clients with attitude and be cocky then maybe this isn’t the right job for you…this field requires you to work with people and provide good customer service but unfortunately these people do not know what that is (please provide more training). For weeks these people have told us that we will get a call back or an update but they haven't even bothered to do so. In conclusion if you are a landlord or a tenant do not waste your time, money AND effort with people that are clearly careless about their job. And for the landlord who owns the 1 bed house in mitcham, you’d be better off renting out your house at another company cause these people are wasting your time and your money on agent fees. This house has been available for months and me and my boyfriend have been one of a few people that are interested and willing to rent out the property at asking price. It’s such a shame because the house does work out very well for me and my boyfriend, unfortunately we are not interested anymore. (I hate giving out bad reviews and name dropping by the way, but i really just have to put out a warning because I'm genuinely shocked by the people that work in this branch. They are a very bad representation of your company and the way they treat and speak to people is absolutely disgusting) Update: 1/5/2024 So i’ve just been scrolling on zoopla and the 1 bedroom house in sycamore gardens is let now. The agent didn’t even call us back after we put an offer down, or gave us any sort of update whatsoever. I don't even think the landlord is aware that we put an offer down for the property, especially with the fact that they are overseas. Whoever the tenants are…Good luck

I sold my property through Goodfellows. Musa was absolutely perfect for me. What a great agent always available on the phone no matter what time I call him he was always available. If he missed my call which sometimes happens he called me right back. With him I always knew what was happening in the sale. He would always contact me with updates to let me know if there is anything new happening. I myself have worked as an estate agent for many many years. I can say this Musa is a very very good agent. I have worked with many different agents. He is very different with his service and he really cared about his job with a lot of passion which does show. Honest to god he was a blessing for us as I don't think anyone else could have handled the sale like him. 10/10 for everything!! If you are on the market or thinking about it choose Goodfellows. As a vendor they went well above my expectations and got me more than I thought! Very very happy thank you!

Why is it when you private rent and pay good money they never want to do repairs only take the money out the rent up which we respond to and never miss a payment but when it come to getting repairs done no one seems to care even though it’s on the contract and the landlords are still allowed to get away with doing any repairs and one repair is very dangerous which is the patio doors which was hidden when we moved in obviously broken by the previous tenants. Which is a sharp break in the patio door threshold which we have to be careful and with a little one here can easy slice out feet open wonder if this it ever going to get fixed also a few other problems which still hasn’t been sorted.

We have recently purchased a house with goodfellows acting as the estate agent for the seller. We had Omar looking after us for the process. From the day of viewings Omar had set us up with the house we wanted to see as well as a number of others he thought we would like. He clearly had looked at what our preferences were and even pushed a little outside of our area of choice based on what he determined we were looking for. He absolutely nailed it and showed us a home that we would never have looked at. It was clear he knew we would fall in love with it and following the viewing we put in an offer. Throughout all the viewings he was knowledgable of the area, the property and the current situation with the sellers. He as honest and pragmatic to our questions and didn’t just “tell us what we wanted to hear” We managed to turn the sale around in about 7 weeks and Omar was responsive and proactive in requests to confirm documentation or actions outstanding. The after sales service has also been exemplary with him following up a few small snagging issues quickly and engaging with the seller to facilitate answering any questions. One of the most stressful things you can do in buying a house was eased incredibly by Omar and he absolutely showed Goodfellows to be a professional, friendly operation and I would happily take my business back there if and when we come to sell ourselves. Thank you for all your support in the process and the warm welcome into our new home. And if Omar ever wants to pop in for coffee if he is in the area he will always be welcome. Great service from this estate agency!! Highly recommended. What more could I ask for. They took my property on and went through all the formalities fairly quickly. They had viewings lined up for the property from day one of going live!! There are many agents that tell you that they have these so called buyers lined up. Goodfellows definitely came through as there was a massive influx of viewings straight away. Jamie was great he advised we go on the market at a certain price point one that was definitely different from what their competitors had stated. He told us that he used a different strategy to ensure that the sale of the property went through quicker than being priced at the top end of the market and run through tedious viewings where you have to continuously tidy up your property for an off chance that there may be an offer. We blocked out an hour on Saturday and had over 20 people in and out and boy did it pay off. Musa secured the sale of our property and was great throughout the process. He helped us throughout and was always available when we needed him. Highly highly recommended cannot stress how easy they made the transition of sale through to purchase. Goodfellows were extremely supportive in selling my 2 houses as part of a court order . There were numerous obstacles along the way and th the process took about 2 years , throughout Jamie demonstrated great professionalism and understanding. Other local estate agents had given up because the case was too complicated but not for Jamie and his team especially James Girvan.They had a full grasp of the situation and was determined to see fairness and honesty prevailed, because of his exceptional sense of fairness and perseverance, he offered me unbiased advice and guidance throughout the process and both my properties were eventually sold in April 2019. Wow, what can I say. I have always been fond of the team at Goodfellows who are always welcoming, make time for you and make you feel like you are their only client even though they have 100's (bit like the movie Jerry McGuire with Tom Cruise if you know it). Jamie the main man definitely oversees a tight ship and James, our main agent, must have waved some kind of magic wand because he found us a buyer just like that. At times along the journey to completion there were a few wobbly moments, however, Jamie and James were great and settling any glimmers of anxiety and made us feel whole again. We just competed another sale with thier assistance, which in all honesty if it wasn't for Jamie and Cathy from Goodfellows - Mitcham, it would have fallen through many times.
