Recently sold a property that Goodchilds had on their rental books. While the property was rented,they always kept me up todate with what few problems did arise,the actual paperwork was simple and easy to understand I only sold the property because I was a reluctant landlord. The property was put on the market and once again all the paperwork and legals were dealt with by Rob and his team they did all the viewings and everything went smoothly. very pleased with the service and would recommend them to any potential landlord or seller.

Polite, professional fantastic customer service

I was most impressed with the service I received. First of all, the prompt response for a valuation, with the clear and detailed explanation of costs involved, Martin is such a friendly, polite and patient guy. He listened to my questions and concerns and put my mind totally at ease. The same level of customer service I was shown by the photographer too. I wasn't expecting to have an agent dealing with me directly, so it was a very pleasant surprise when Jordan called me to introduce himself. He gave me his direct line number and called with regular updates. I was impressed with the teamwork of Goodchilds agents as Nicki filled in for Jordan when he was away. The agents handled all the viewings professionally and kept me informed by phone, text and email, For hassle-free, professional service I can't recommend Goodchilds more highly.

Did exactly what they said they would do

Had my house valued in mid-August and it sold in mid-October, this was almost spot on to the time Goodchilds estimated it would take to sell. Only sent prospective buyers when I wanted and always followed up the viewing with a phone call to get my feedback and listen to any concerns I had. Dealt mostly with Nicky who was very down to earth and knowledgeable in her job. They took good photographs and marketed my property well. The only downside for me was the Solicitors that I asked them to recommend - I didn't find them very good - but Goodchilds were not to blame for their shortcomings.

Dear Goodchild's Estate Agents We would like to say how well we have been treated by Nick and Zoe of the Goodchild's Telford Office. In the first instance we were renting a flat via Goodchild's, and both Nick and Zoe made the procedure easy and were very friendly and have been helpful throughout the tenancy. In the second instance we were in the market to purchase a house. Zoe sent through four options along with a list of Pros for each. Terrible customer service, will use any excuse to withhold your deposit. Even trying to charge you for the electricity they use whilst showing new tenants around after final meter readings have been took. Vicky's answer - its your responsibility for the electric till your tenancy is up. INVENT REASONS TO KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT MONEY She has no respect for tenants who pay there rent on time DO NOT RENT FROM GOODCHILDS!!!

Just rented a property though Goodchilds, Nick was my contact at the branch and I have to say his communication was nothing but excellent, he came out to us and gave us the valuation and went through the services Goodchilds offer, the reason we selected them was because there were not up front fees and we wanted the rent guarantee, Nick placed it on the market and found a tenant quickly and they have now moved into our property. Nick informed us when an application was received, kept us updated about the references, safety certificates and inventory and arranged the move very smoothly, we have used other letting agents in the past and found communication to be difficult so Nick I thank you for this!
