Goodchilds recently handled the sale of a property for me. All the staff that I dealt with were most helpful. The valuation was in line with my expectations, and they arranged a number of viewings very quickly from their database.
I was contacted after each viewing with the agent's impression of the potential purchaser's reaction to the property. Once an offer had been accepted, the property was marked as Sold subject to contract and the conveyancing firm that Goodchilds recommended to me swung into action.
There was a slight delay when the purchasers opted to delay completion by a couple of weeks from what had originally been agreed, but otherwise everything went through smoothly.

Recently sold a property that Goodchilds had on their rental books.
While the property was rented,they always kept me up todate with what few problems did arise,the actual paperwork was simple and easy to understand I only sold the property because I was a reluctant landlord.
The property was put on the market and once again all the paperwork and legals were dealt with by Rob and his team they did all the viewings and everything went smoothly.

Goodchilds in Hanley recently acted as my selling agent for a property that I had previously tried, unsuccessfully, to sell several years earlier using another agent before renting out. I was incredibly impressed by the professional, courteous and efficient service I received from the team at Goodchilds and, this time, I received an offer less than 3 weeks after the property was marketed and the sale was completed around two months later.
As I did not live locally, I feared this may make things more complicated or slow things down but Goodchilds were very supportive and responsive. I was kept in close communication throughout the whole process and everything was arranged for me. Hooray! Goodchilds has recently sold my house in Stoke-on-Trent. After three and a half years on the market, including two years with Goodchilds, it has not been the easiest of sales.. Other estate agents only showed round a couple of viewers whereas Goodchilds were able to generate interest from a good number of folk over the time we were with them. Rhys in particular deserves praise for sticking at a difficult job and always showing positivity and determination.. In spite of the chain falling apart twice Rhys and Goodchilds worked hard to make sure the sale went through. We were pleased to have put the sale of our house in the hands of such a good team.
