We recently bought a house in Carlisle and had Naomi Bell dealing with us, honestly we couldn’t have asked for anyone better!We had quite a few issues regarding the mortgage but she was always so patient and supportive. She made the house buying experience amazing for us, always smiling and always happy to answer any questions no matter how big or small. She kept us up to date constantly so we knew exactly where we were at.We honestly can’t thank her enough for everything, her bubbly, positive personality definitely made the most stressful times feel easier! Now we have finally moved into our beautiful Fergus and we love it!!

Disappointing Experience with Gleeson HomesMy brother recently bought a house from Gleeson Homes, and what should have been an exciting new chapter has turned into a frustrating ordeal. The central heating in his new home doesn’t work properly, leaving him without hot water on multiple occasions, and to make matters worse, they don’t seem to have any qualified heat pump engineers on site.Despite repeated requests for an engineer to resolve the issue, Gleeson Homes has continually sent unqualified people round, none of whom have been able to fix the heating system. Each visit ends the same way, no resolution and more wasted time.It’s shocking that a company selling new homes would be so unprepared for such basic maintenance issues. It’s especially disappointing that, after repeated requests, they still haven’t been able to send out a qualified engineer to fix the problem. For anyone considering buying a home from Gleeson, be warned: the aftercare and support is severely lacking.We are still waiting for a proper fix and would advise others to be cautious when dealing with this company. This isn’t the standard you expect when purchasing a new home. Spent all this money on house that doesn't work. Highly disappointed !

Gleeson Homes spring mill have been amazing. I started by a visit with Paul the sales representatives. What a nice man from that that day. I was telling him I have my house up for sale. How I was getting a lot of time people but giving silly offers. He helped me by telling how I should approach that . The easiest agent we used was no help I was on my own. Well it was a great help I sold it . Great help Paul. He kept me well informed of the house I chose. Even phone me every week. We was passed on to the senior team member.We have been kept informed with every step of the way in the process of our new home. Suzanne the senior sales executive been there. throughout and as been more like a friend to us rather than a sales person. Thank you Suzanne and Paul for every thing. I definitely would recommend Gleeson Homes. 100% positive all the way

We moved to our new Gleeson Home in Wragby Hawthorn Fields Lincolnshire in August 2024 and the experience was excellent. Scott our main sales advisor was brilliant so helpful caring and friendly going over things for us, always answering our phone calls ( there were a few ) as we lived about 40 mins away. Explaining everything he needed to do regarding the buying and more. He is a credit to Gleeson's.I would just like to add that Bethany, Angie. and Jordan have also been very helpful and professional.The on site care since we moved has been fantastic with one of the site managers Adrian (Adie) helping straight away with a couple of snags we had.But all the on site people are happy friendly and again professional.We hope to have many a few years in our lovely home. This was my first and only experience with a housing group in the UK, and Gleeson was incredibly helpful from the start. I remember having a list of property viewings scheduled for the first day of my home-buying journey, but I had no interest in attending other viewings because I wasn’t keen on purchasing a previously owned home. Surprisingly, my first viewing was with Gleesons, and I didn’t bother with any others after that. They made everything so easy and provided all the information I needed.As someone from Sri Lanka, I sometimes struggle to understand the accents of UK-born people, but Gleesons went out of their way to ensure I understood the entire process. They supported me through multiple meetings and were flexible when I changed my mind several times regarding extras for the home.One of the most significant aspects of my experience was receiving the key worker deposit from Gleesons, which was a huge help in gathering the initial deposit. Without it, I would have had to wait much longer to save up from my salary. They were by my side throughout the process, making sure I wasn’t alone until I could see my dream home become a reality. Now, I’m eagerly waiting to move into our little dwelling, designed just as my daughter and I envisioned.Thank you so much, Gleeson!

We immediately felt welcomed when we visited the site by Jodie and she took the time to show us the site and around the house we’d been interested in. Jodie was instrumental in chasing up our Solicitor’s when deadlines loomed and she kept us informed of developments weekly. After moving in, we did have a few issues which we reported to customer care and I must say that Glenn has been extremely helpful and supportive and we are impressed with all Gleeson staff that we have been in contact with, they’re a credit to the company.

I recently purchased a property from Gleeson and have been extremely disappointed with the experience. While the initial buying process seemed smooth, it quickly became clear that the developer had no intention of following through on the promised works after completion. Despite multiple assurances that certain repairs and enhancements would be completed, they have repeatedly refused to address these issues after raising the job on their my Gleeson platform.The lack of communication and accountability from Gleeson has left me feeling frustrated and misled. I strongly advise potential buyers to think twice before committing to a property from this developer. It’s essential to ensure that any promises made during the sales process are backed by a commitment to follow through. My experience has been a cautionary tale, and I hope others can avoid the same pitfalls.

I have had such a positive experience on my new build home journey, in large part due to Louise at Gleeson West Yorkshire who has helped me every step of the way. I had regular updates and no questions were too small or odd. The team are excellent communicators and I'm so thankful that my journey has felt supported and bespoke. I've had a new build before and I appreciate it's always a gamble, you hear horror stories. It's by no means been smooth sailing but I can't fault the customer service.
