Just moved out of Get Living after living here for a three very happy years. I loved living here- the staff have always been so friendly and helpful and in particular Annemarie and Davide who both work at reception. They have repeatedly gone out of their way to address any problems I may have had and have done so with genuine warmth and professionalism. They are often the first people you encounter in the office of Get Living and you couldn’t ask for nicer people. Highly recommend!

I have just moved into my new apartment in the East Village and it was by far the easiest and most hassle free move I’ve ever done. From viewing the place only a week ago, I am fully moved in and settled and so happy to have this as my new home. It couldn’t have been made more efficient and easy without the help of two amazing employees of Get Living, and they were Rikki and Zainab. Both provided outstanding customer service and went above and beyond to make sure our move was as smooth as possible. It would be worth also mentioning that we had a very short time frame to move in by, and although it usually takes a week or so for checks to be competed, Rikki and Zainab did everything to ensure we could move in by the date we needed too. Massive shout out to these two, and Get Living for the incredible service provided.

The staff at Get Living have gone above and beyond since the very beginning. Special thanks to Claire, who took us to view four diverse properties which all suited our wants/needs, and who had the answers to every question we had. Thank you also to Zareena, who handled all the paperwork and was so helpful and always quick to respond to any inquiries we had. The moving process was seamless beginning to end, and we are very happy with our new flat. We've also been very impressed with the maintenance team. Upon moving in there was one minor issue, which we raised to them. They responded within hours (on a Sunday) and quickly arranged an appointment to resolve the issue. Already this is a much-appreciated change from previous experiences with letting agencies and landlords.

When I moved in, they hadn't set up a heating contractor and didn't for the entire time I lived there. Their contractor is now contacting me for money 1 year after I left. NMY never once told me they hired a contractor (5 months AFTER I moved out) and even though they admitted they messed up, they refused to take responsibility. Their excuse was they told residents a week before I moved out to save £50 a month for when they do finally sort out a contractor. This was irrelevant since its not being able to afford the bill that was the problem, it's the fact that they signed me up to this contractor without my knowledge 5 months after I moved out and were never going to bother telling me this.They didn't seem to understand that the real issue was the stress of being chased for money from a contractor you've never heard of a year after you leave a place because they couldn't be bothered to send even an email months ago to explain. That being said, after going backwards and forwards with them for a few days my concerns were passed on to the manager John who did provide a formal apology on behalf of NMY, and informed me that the issues with the contractor had been escalated and NMY plans to formally speak with them next week to address these issues. I had no troubles during my tenancy with NMY, it's just a shame that what came after the tenancy ended was stressful. I am thankful that John was able to resolve this issue and hopefully once their contractor has been informed of the issues other tenants will not go through this and things will run a bit more smoothly.

Unreal place to rent and an even better team looking after it. Location is ideal, literally 10 min walk from city centre, whilst the flats themselves are super modern and allow pets. Great place for socializing, always new people coming in and the management team are always checking in to make sure you're being looked after and enjoying yourself. Highly recommend.

Lived here for just gone a year now and could not fault the services at NMY. The staff have been excellent right from our move in and continued their attentiveness since. Their efforts during this pandemic to ensure i felt at home have been great and i couldn't commend the team more, so shouts to them, especially for bringing around care packages mid lockdown! Prior to moving to NMY, we viewed a number of apartments within Manchester, all in which had good locations and okay builds.. but what made NMY stand out was the quality of the products that are offered inside their builds and the community events that are active throughout the year for all residents to join. I just didn't have the same feeling in the other new builds we viewed prior to choosing this location. Thanks for the year so far! I Couldn't recommend NMY enough for anyone looking to view/move here.

Moved in 3 weeks ago, best thing I ever did. From start to finish, the whole team were amazing, accommodating so many viewings and answering millions of questions (sorry Josh for the number of emails I sent you) and since we’ve moved in there hasn’t been a single thing wrong. The flat is immaculate and modern, the maintenance and relationship teams are quick, friendly and so helpful and the local area is just the perfect setting, so close to town. If you are looking for a place with a community feel and inclusion- LOOK NO FURTHER! The team at New Maker Yards have been brilliant during this very challenging year we all have faced. Be it regular engagement via comms, app and signage the team put their residents needs first as best possible. Always warm and welcoming. The real winner was December 2020 whereby they erected a stunning christmas tree in sponsorship with Mind Charity and residents received totes bags with Xmas goodies to help lift spirits. Then to get a courtesy check in call to make sure I was doing OK as I myself like many of us live on my own. The apartments are fantastic and have very much a hotel feel to them and we have the locks too! Get living are not just about money from you they support their residence and act swiftly to resolve any maintenance issues. To all the team at New Maker’s Yard- Welcome Office down to the maintenance and cleaning team- THANK YOU ALL you truly are a fantastic team! Bad news for you all I may now be here even through to retirement ( where I will be chased by security ) whilst pulling handbrake turns on my shop mobility scooter around the locks with flashing disco balls attached. Thank you all once again!

The application process was the easiest it's ever been renting, really quick & efficient. The staff are all really lovely and have made sure we've settled into our new place well - from the induction and moving in gestures to responding so quickly and attentively to any queries/issues that've cropped up. The flat itself is perfect too with lovely furnishing and the whole development is in a nice area - we were a little worried the construction would be noisy as we're right opposite it but the flats are genuinely really soundproof! Would definitely recommend as it's been so much better than previous experiences with private landlords. Thank you to Josh and Cara for helping us get moved in! :)
