GoogleFrom the outset, David at Frosts was very approachable and sympathetic to our particular circumstances. I already had a idea of how I wanted the property to be marketed and we talked this through as well as other options, but agreed that a single Open Day for viewing, followed by a time limited 'Best Bid' should (and did) result in a smooth and speedy sale at a price which we were very happy with. Events however over took us and delays were inevitably encountered when we needed to obtain a Grant of Probate. David and his team's support throughout this difficult period was fantastic, there was no pestering, we simply kept in touch on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to 'touch base', and the buyers were kept informed all the way through. Once things started to move again, we were able to Exchange and Complete in a short period of time and again David and his team were fantastic and everything went through smoothly with regular liaison taking place with our Conveyancers (Frosts Conveyancing). They even helped to find a last minute 'house clearer' at a very reasonable cost who came the same day to take some last minute overlooked items away. In all, exceptional service - David didn't even mind when I inadvertently called him whilst he was on Paternity Leave! I would highly recommend using Frosts Harpenden. They are professional, courteous, easy to relate to and in my opinion were the very opposite of the stereo-typical Estate Agent. They helped collect necessary paperwork and when needed, scanned these for us electronically for transmission to our Conveyancers. The selling of the family home is often not easy, but David and his team never lost sight of this and helped whenever and where-ever they could.

GoogleI have recently rented out my house for the first time with Frosts Harpenden. I was pleasantly surprised that the team were able to secure fantastic tenants within such a short time frame. After opting for Frosts to fully manage the property, Lily and her team have been very helpful and on hand throughout the process, advising and explaining all legalities included regards safety checks on gas and electricity. Also arranging work to be completed on the property and a full inventory prior to the tenants moving in. I would highly recommend Frosts Harpenden for an efficient, relatable and profesional service.

FacebookFrom the off Frost’s conducted themselves very professionally, with feeling, honesty and understanding. I had a few agents in to value the place and found Frost’s outstripped the opposition by far. I am so very glad I choose them to be my agent. The team worked hard at putting together a great sales presentation to get me many viewers on the open day. They then negotiated a fabulous price. Kept me informed every step of the way that I never felt left behind or unnecessary. Always there when I called and if they could not get in touch with me straight away kept trying until they did. Even when I was on holiday in a remote part of Europe we could still keep in touch on a daily basis.The staff were extremely helpful, their professionalism, calmness and ability to keep me calm and trusting in their negotiating skills with a difficult to get hold of at the most crucial times buyer. Resulted in a completion. Thank you so much Frost’s for your hard work on my behalf.

GoogleAfter I identified issues with the bathroom, within the first week of moving in, at the flat I rent in St Albans. 2 years later Frosts have demanded I fix the damage I that apparently I have now created. Avoid these unprofessional people as all that want is there extortionate fees and nothing for it. If they can they’ll take your deposit too.

One of the worst agents I've dealt with. Having made an appointment view a property and driven 45 minutes I found out the property had already been let and we had not been told. Complete lack of disrespect, shameful service. Please avoid if you can. I would give them 0 zero stars if that was possible.

GoogleIf I could give this company a '0' star rating I happily would. On 2 different occasions we have arranged viewings for properties to then be told the property had already been let, after we've traveled 2 hours to view them. On another occasion we made a viewing and were told en-route that they would be rearranging the viewing for a Saturday 'as its more convenient' for them. Of the 3 properties we did view, one woman was nice and polite, another turned up late then didn't have a clue what she was talking about and the same woman at the final property gave the impression she didn't want to be there. We actually considering taking one place that these guys were offering, but upon reviewing their fees we thought twice (just under £700 for two people). There are plenty of other estate agents in St. Albans, and I would much rather trust them with my money than this bunch of crooks.

Dear Mr Andrews, it is with sincere regret that you have missed opportunities to view properties due to tenancies being agreed prior to you being able to view them. On many occasions, and due to huge demand, properties can receive swift and significant interest, which in the majority of cases our landlords are keen to consider and if appropriate accept. We take great pride in having a fully staffed office on Saturdays, as it's regularly our busiest day. We are always keen utilise our staff and offer viewings all day providing any occupying tenant has provided consent. We are sorry if a representative of Frosts arrived late for your other appointments, we do our best but traffic occasionally does get the upper hand, every member of the team completes weeks of training and should be able to manage this or any other situation. We would be pleased to discuss your comment regarding fees as the figure you quote is much, much higher than the amount incurred if you had applied for a property and referencing was needed. A detailed account of all fees is available in every Frosts letting office and via our website. If there has been any misunderstanding over fees of anything else, please do always call us so we can help, either now or in the future. Thank you.

GoogleConstantly burried head in the sand when asked if they manage the property, to this day the Landlord claims they do, Frosts claim the opposite. For 3.5yrs they stated they did not. Ended the tennancy and they want a check out fee after I instigated the check out procedures and contacted and arranged the end of tennancy viewings. I paid for the phone calls and took time to organise, Frosts sit back, do nothing and collect a fee! To be honest, not only a poor letting company, but a poor company to deal with. My experience with the lettings section was frustrating. They are not the polished outfit the website sells. Be warned.

Dear Soopa Kev, I am sorry you experienced difficulty at the end of your three and half year tenancy. I assume that such a long stay demonstrates you may not always have felt unhappy with our services. I have investigated the address you rented and can assure you that Frost's were not employed by the landlord to be the managing agent, despite him living overseas. We will always try to assist a tenant where ever we can, but if we are not authorised by the landlord our actions are limited. It is this limited position that no doubt meant the checkout procedure needed to be handled by you and the landlord directly.

GoogleI haven't even spent money with Frost's and I already despise them - a monkey could run a company better (and might also look more presentable!). On two separate occasions they have made viewing appointments with me for properties that have already been rented (or so they say! Who knows with their appalling management) and failed to inform me of this until I'm actually waiting at the property. A lucky escape that I hadn't made a commitment to rent with them, but, a very sad assessment for anyone paying these unapologetic buffoons to advertise their properties.
