Thanks so much to Rose Johnson. She was outstanding throughout our search for a rental property in St Albans. She was keen to find out exactly what we were looking for, was quick in letting us know as soon as property that we might be interested in came on the market, was honest about what we would and wouldn't like about particular property. She made it easy to arrange and liaise on viewings. We presently live hours away and her help in that was especially apprediated. And after she found the perfect property for us, she held our hand as we went through the referencing process with Rightmove. We are so looking forward to moving into our new home. Other agents (including branch managers and partners of other agents) baulked at the valuation he put on my house but he was spot on all along and he was absolutely correct in believing the property would fetch a higher price! Would not recommend this estate agent to anyone who is looking to buy or sell any property in St Albans or the surrounding areas! Sheetal, was extremely rude and patronising towards me and my wife and does not deserve a desk at your office, 3 years ago, I’d of recommended this estate agent to people close to me but now, and I cannot stress enough, I cannot justify the disgrace that occurred during my experience with Frost. Sort your staff out, especially ‘Sheetal’ and train your staff better!

I was very disappointed with the level of service and attitude of frosts in both selling and renting my property. I had requested that I be informed of key events such as the survey of purchasers as although we were not living in the house we do stay over for work on odd days. Even after my explicit request the purchasers, mortgage and private survey was carried out without our knowledge. We only found out by calling the agents one morning as my wife visited the house to find a builder waiting to survey some remedial works!! This sale fell through mainly because we no longer trusted the purchasers we feel. We never felt as though frosts had our back, I actually felt put down when we were given feed back on the house in some cases. Lastly on the sales side of things…… The communication was extremely poor, I would have to constantly chase via phone and email, even at points of the deal falling through. In terms of the lettings…. We found the initial service ok and had a few viewings. One offer fell through but was not frosts fault. I emailed the lettings team to inform them that after several months with no tentent that we were trying a new agent and thanked them. I then had 2 emails essentially saying that the new agents had less people to view and commenting on the quality of their photos. We really didn’t appreciate this unprofessional approach. The main reason I am writing this however is that as soon as we cancelled the letting with frosts we receive a threatening email stating names of people frosts have not shown or done anything with that if we have these people as tenants that they would pursue their fee. In our eyes this is bullying and not a good way to do business particularly after no sale or let since July. I would not use frosts again for either service.

In spite of the very busy and competitive market at the moment, the process following the viewing has been very rapid and reassuring. We appreciated the opportunity to perform viewings on weekends - absolutely indispensable when trying to move from another city and working a full-time job. We hope this initial experience is indicative of a good long-term interaction with this agency, and hope to be able to give another 5-star review at the end of our contract.
