GoogleBad experience. When it was check out time, I had the impression they inflated the expenses to get me protest and accept the ammount of money they wanted me to pay (£118 from my deposit). So they looked like they made me save money. Professional, but never gone the extra mile to help the tenants (myself and the other people in the house). Please look for a different property agent.

GoogleRachel Thraves was full of practical advice, and helped with finding tradesmen when required. She was very helpful at all times, and especially when there was an unexpected leak. Always pleasant to deal with, our tenants also liked her.

GoogleTheir standard rental contract has no break clause and requires you to pay a one month fee if you terminate before the end of the 12 months. In my case, a particular estate agent stated this is standard and showed serious resistance on changing it and even mentioned that that's industry standard (needless to say thats a complete lie). If this is the case then make sure to ask for a superior, Anna Turner was very helpful and offered a break clause and we came to a reasonable middle ground.

GoogleGreat experience with them. Very helpful and friendly staff who made the process easy from the first round of viewings to final signing of the contract. The continued support of a dedicated site manager is also highly appreciated. Couldn't be more pleased.

The lettings manager we were dealing with, has a poor attitude, rarely responded (no out of office either), rarely addressed any issues raised in emails, and when they did it was only after several chases. GoogleI couldn't find what I was looking for on my own (good places get snapped up quickly here in Oxford). So I went to these agents with a long wish-list & a budget. Within weeks, they'd found the perfect place for me (basically I wanted something that matched what I'm used to in London, in the heart of the city, but at a sensible price). It wasn't on the market yet (they sent me photos) and, after allocating me the first viewing, I gave them a deposit & they took it off the market. So much simpler! They have a very friendly, communal atmosphere, and were always keen to explain all the legalese in plain English to those who asked. And I am sure that they are far above the norm in terms of looking after people, simply because there was nothing more they could've done (they did absolutely everything that I'd asked them to, even getting the landlady to agree to install a decent shower for me before I'd moved in). Everyone works really hard to make your stay a pleasant one. They fixed a light outside the flat within hours even though I said it wasn't urgent (tbh I'm not even sure who's responsible for that light fixture but they did it anyway!!). They were also extremely flexible about minor things that I'd forgotten when I was in a rush due to work. They feel more like friends than a normal business, but that's the classic advantage an SME has over the Goliaths! Oh, and even after leaving they're still there (remotely!) helping me to tie up any loose ends (they advised me on some sure-fire ways to ensure bills are redirected correctly :-)). Can't really ask for more!

FacebookThat's being generous! Got told certain things would be fixed before moving in...2 yrs later things weren't fixed. We were told because we weren't paying the going rate we shouldn't expect things to be repaired! Emails ignored. We were being awkward because we wanted to arrange visits for when we were in the property (because we have cats and there was no cat flap and were concerned they would get out in our absence!), being awkward is also when you let them know you are in from 3pm mon to Fri! Wouldn't use again and certainly wouldn't recommend!

GoogleFantastic estate agent - really impressed with their professionalism and support. I had the daunting task of trying to find a place in Oxford that met a couple of strict criteria ahead of a year of study at the University. The whole team were very supportive and Emily Rowland in particular went far beyond my normal experience of estate agents in actively helping me find a suitable property. Additionally, once a suitable place had been found, Emily and the team were great during the paper work/ admin part of securing the place. I would recommend them highly.

FacebookWe have always found Finders Keepers very professional and helpful - even to advising what to create from potential space, so defining the building above a Summertown shop.Their design company, Decorum finished off the job by creating 3 totally different moods in adjacent flats. However, we have used Decorum now for the design and fitting of two rooms in our house. This was creatively successful as a newer look than we would have done, and operationally very efficient in fitting the jobs and tradesmen into a well timed operation with the minimum of disruption. For the second room, after agreeing the look, it was all done while we had a week away.Thank you!Michael & Joan Greenwood

FacebookWe used Finders Keepers' Interiors arm Decorum to source furniture for a flat going onto the rental market and the result was excellent. I checked FK's estimates against what I would have had to pay buying comparable items direct and the differences were minimal. Final cost was below the figure estimated as FK passed on savings on bulk purchases. Another big benefit was that for a small fee FK oversaw delivery and installation on everything saving us endless time. When we inspected we were very pleasantly surprised by quality of the furniture and the overall finished effect. Unsolicited, our tenants wrote that they were thrilled.
