Extremely disappointing experience with Finders Keepers. From the start, we’ve encountered arrogance, poor communication, and a total lack of professionalism in how the property has been managed. There seems to be no real oversight or care from their team, and issues are consistently brushed aside or left unresolved. The property we’ve been renting for 5 years, which is now listed for sale on Bushy Close Oxford is being falsely advertised using photos that are at least 7 years old, a completely misleading representation. The reality is far from what’s shown. The house is in a poor state, with serious damp problems, signs of construction issues in conservatory, and general neglect in maintenance. Attempting to sell this property for £375,000 in its current condition is frankly a disgrace. A fair value would be closer to £200,000, considering the significant repairs and updates needed. This experience has shown a shocking lack of integrity, and I would not recommend Finders Keepers to anyone, whether you’re renting or buying.

Worst estate agent I have ever dealt with. They insisted inspections, even during the height of the pandemic during covid. They also charged us a huge amount for a cleaning fee even after a professional clean, taking a picture of a spider living in the corner of a ceiling as evidence of a room being unclean. My property manager for many years, Joshua, deserves a 5 star review. He has done quick but thorough inspections and scheduled prompt maintenance when there were issues. The checkout process was also very smooth and well handled by Joshua despite myself departing the country early, and the deposit was returned to my bank account within 2 working days with no dispute. I would’ve given a 5 star review if it weren’t for the poor check in process (handled by someone else); the curtains were mouldy and boiler + radiators faulty when I moved into the property in the winter. I paid for curtain cleaning from my own pocket.

I have used Finders Keepers twice to rent a property in Oxford and they are in a different class to other agencies. The staff are professional, efficient, experienced and client-oriented (both landlord and tenants). The properties are also typically much better than other rental agencies; very well maintained and clean. Yes, there is a cost premium, but its worth every penny for peace of mind and having an apartment that feels like a home. My currently property manager, Ceri Holmes is excellent, with all the qualities above but also effective while staying low key. Its a pleasure renting from Finders Keepers and I am not at all surprised they are successful - they have earned their success.

Finders keepers is the most reliable housing agency in Oxford, hands down #1. Amy has been the most exceptional agent we have ever worked with.. even on a global scale. She is extremely intelligent, prompt and found us our perfect home so smoothly it felt like a dream. We had terrible experiences with dishonesty from other companies in the area. Amy is a blessing! The process at Finders Keepers was straight forward and we were not met with any unfortunate surprises when we moved in. I don’t usually leave reviews but I have had such a terrible experience with letting agencies recently and Finders Keepers was a breath of fresh air. Specifically, Lottie has been amazing. We enquired about a house they were advertising. I initially phoned and then she sent me a video tour over the email. We then continued to interact over email. She was so responsive every single time. She understood our situation, as we are relocating from 400 km away. The house we enquired about had already some viewings established so she did advise it might not be available when we wanted to see it. This ended up being the case, however she was lovely and professional enough to notify us that the property has been let. I think good communication, clarity about the process, proper vetting of tenants and ongoing property checks are among FK's strengths. I also appreciate the advice and advance notice about aspects of the property that could be improved to maintain its desirability to prospective tenants, and to achieve the best rental income.
